Looks thinner to me, but it's pretty hard to say.
I think Lea having longer hair and how that frames his face also makes a slight difference.

Clearly, if we can decipher the meaning behind this, we will solve all the mysteries of this saga.

The hair's noticeably longer in areas, and the tattoos obviously aren't there, but in terms of his facial structure, I'm not seeing any major changes here. If there's any difference I think it's negligible.

I think most of the changes are a just result of his model being updated.

The angles of his jaw are steeper as Axel... And he has more hair... it's like he's aged a little bit if you ask me :)

Edit: Nvm, I checked it (the angles)... they just kinda look that way o_O

Why is this such a big deal anyway? Nobodies don't have to be 100% identical to their original personas down to every little detail. Look at Xemnas and Xehanort.

I think it is fuller. Not surprising. It's so he appears more "nice" and "human", like his character is now.

EDIT= Latest comparison looks the same. It was just the angle. nevermind

That still doesn't mean they all have to be identical. And do you really think there is a hidden message in Lea having a slightly fuller face than Axel? This whole discussion is pointless.

I read through both of these pages thinking just like you. KH fans over analyze EVERYTHING....then get mad when they don't enjoy the new titles since they've spent so much time figuring out the entire plot before it's released lol

I thought it was interesting that he looked a bit different... I believe that you're the one looking for a hidden message in something, the discussion's point is how Axel looks different now as a Somebody; Lea

i'd say it is the lighting and also the fact the images are all screenshots and not direct feed so the quality is distorted.

I knew all those afternoons eating sea salt ice cream would harm SOMEONE.

But its most likely nothing honestly. Probably just the way he looks in that scene. I don't mind much really. Finally got some meat on them bones.
