I think it's actually the second symbol, the Dream Symbol or whatever it is. The bottom and part of the structure resembles that more than the Nightmares.

Yeah, I realized that and changed my post. I could've sworn when I saw it before it was the Nightmare Symbol. But yeah, it's the Spirit Symbol.

I mean the game does focus on Ansem's data too, and well Ansem's computer could easily have something to do with that which opens up space paranoids in the realm of light for the Tron Legacy plot.

I imagine these 7 Keyholes to be the seven lights Maleficent is referring to, which she will probably either plunge those worlds into Darkness once more or use them to open a door to Kingdom Hearts.

Sheesh, I leave for 3 hours to watch Sherlock Holmes and whole bunch of stuff happens. Can anyone summerize what's going on. I'd rather not search through all these pages if it can be helped.

This is what makes me sad. Scenes with her (outside of BbS, Riku's story in CoM, and KH1) are more comic-relief than anything anymore. Her and Pete have become the Team Rocket of the series.

I've also felt this way.
Who knows, perhaps Nomura will actually set Maleficent up for a proper (villain) role in this or the next game. It's difficult to do that with Pete lumbering around, though. He really can't be taken seriously.

I've also felt this way.

I hope for this, too, because she's basically become a joke (KH2 I blame mostly, though Re:coded didn't help much in that department either).

But I honestly want a new Disney villain to take over (Evil Queen, Horned King, etc.)

I'm really hoping we'll get to fight Vanitas with Sora and Riku though.

Why thank you! That's the best compliment I've gotten so for since I joined the forums!
But back to the topic at hand, I think the black coated figure Neku is talking to while Sora falls asleep is the Mysterious Figure. He's probably the one responsible for bring the TWEWY cast into Traverse Town in the first place!

We never did get to fight the Evil Queen in BBS. I feel like she and Maleficent could form a really intimidating partnership in the long run. Pete could just join the good guys, since we all know it's where he really wants to be.

And don't even get me started on a Black Cauldron tie-in to KH. I would fangasm so hard. So hard.
