Story after Kingdom Hearts 3

Ok so some people want Kingdom hearts to END after Kingdom Hearts 3. I for one don't. I think the story can be very arching and epic. Think for a moment. How else could the Xheanort saga end than with a huge reconnection with tav. He will be human again after all. Terra will probably get his body back aqua will be freed and Ven will wake up. But the worlds weren't separated by xheanort. There has to be a deeper evil. Another villan that discovered or invented darkness and drove out the True Light. I want Sora to team up with TAV and search for the true light and put things back the way they originated. The destruction of xheanort is not enough. There has to be complete closure... or do you not agree? opinions.


But please no nasty comments. You can get your point across without hurting people or being rude. give your opinion but be nice about it.

It has already been confirmed that Kingdom Hearts 3 is NOT the end of the entire series. It's only the end of the "Xehanort Saga," but the series will continue even after that.

We already know KH3 is not the end. We will be getting more after the Xehanort Saga which will end with KH3.

I actually want the story to pull something out of the old legend in FFIII.

One thousand years before the events in the game, on a floating continent hovering high above the surface of an unnamed planet, a technologically advanced civilization sought to harness the power of the four elemental crystals of light. They did not realize that they could not control such fundamental forces of nature. This power of light would have consumed the world itself had the light crystals not had their natural counterparts: the four dark elemental crystals. Disturbed by the sudden interruption of the careful balance of light and dark, four warriors were granted the power of the dark crystals to recapture the power of the light crystals. These so-called Dark Warriors succeeded in their quest, and restored harmony to the world. But their victory came too late to save the doomed civilization. Their culture was reduced to ruin, though their floating continent remained.

I don't want that plot, but the idea that Light can be evil. It has already been talked about in the series that Darkness is not evil, but it is the people who use it that make it bad. The same can definitely be done with the Light.

I came up with a plot for KH4 not too long ago.

Alright we all know there are quite a few keyblade wielders wandering about now right? More than there were in BBS atleast. Well the last time that there were a bunch of keyblade wielders around we got the crisis that was the keyblade war. So what if after the whole Keyblade War thing, a group of hunters were created in order to hunt down and kill a certain amount of keyblade wielders if their numbers ever got too large. This group was created as a safety precaution to prevent another keyblade war. This group has trained generation after generation to fight keyblade wielders.

So now since most likely Terra, Aqua, and Ven will be joining the main group of heros after KH3, maybe this group of hunters has taken noticed and attacks Sora and all his keyblade wielding friends in an attempt to eliminate some of them so their numbers will be contained thus preventing the possibility of another war. (Remember if Terra, Aqua, Ven, and Sora and Riku are all made masters then they will eventually take on apprentices and that can create a large number of wielders over time. So this is the reason the hunters attack them.)

Probably a crappy idea but still it was something I just came up with.

Well for anyone that wants KH3 to be the end... it can be the end for them! They don't have to pick up any of the games that come after it. They can (hopefully) have closure with Xehanort and ignore anything that comes up after him.

I'm not so sure the scenario you mention is something I'd want to see right after KH3. Maybe something a bit lower scale than the "final" boss/evil. Maybe the penultimate enemy. Although I still have this suspicion that Braig/Xigbar will possibly have himself a field day after Xehanort's defeated.

With my idea, I was actually picturing Braig being one of these hunters, and that he was ordered to team up with MX and follow him around, and he was also ordered not to tell Xemnas about his past as Terra and MX (This would explain why Xigbar/Braig never told Xehanort/Xemnas about his forgotten past) So after KH3 we would discover that Braig was a member of these hunters. So in truth we discover all through out the Xehanort saga, while it looked like Braig was working for MX the truth was he was carrying out the orders the hunters gave him.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is the end of Xehanort Saga, not the entirely end of KH series.
So it will probably having new villian or something after KH3.

I kinda wish they will actually have a saga that will lead to the first keyblade war and which tells the origin of the keyblades themselves.

I like this idea. Axel and Lea wanting to take over the organization could have something to do with this.

Actually I know it was continuing I just wanted to know what you thought. LoL. So any way I like the idea of a Penultimate enemy instead of what I suggested. And i had a similar Idea to the hunters. I was thinking that at the end of kingdom hearts 3 when TAV reconnect that there would be a reveal of another group. I loved fighting the organization. They were diverse and challenging. And the final knock down with Xemnas...(insert bliss here)!

What if there was a secret society that had a mission to keep the worlds separate. So to bring back the true light is to reunite the worlds right? What I am thinking is that sora has to knock down like 20 people that guard the true light from those who would free it so that no one would seek it's power again.

I'm not so sure about that "true light" thing. As said in comments above, the point isn't that darkness is evil and light is good, and Sora and his friends going on a quest to fill the worlds with extreme light would be a huge contradiction to the series.

I dont think i'm the only one that thinks this but I cant help but sense a time skip in the air...
