What does "Zero EXP" mean for Critical Mode? Like, does that mean you don't level up or something?

The Secret Boss scares the crap out of my now. He's Resistant to everything. That's gonna to tough to beat.
Also, does there happen to be anything that says whether Aqua fights him in her scenario, or the Last Episode?

1. its just an ability that keeps you at level 1 for extra challenge.
2. Since all 3 can fight the secret boss, i'd assume its not the last episode.

You don't. Ven does, in a cutscene that is actually a black screen with a few whacking sounds.
