My idiot of a friend nabbed my cell and prank texted some one about "sexy pics" or something. Now the person replies "who the f is this?" and I paniced and deleted the text.

Now I can't explain or make up for that slip, I'm afraid whoever got the text might over-react

Just explain that a friend nabbed your phone and prank texted. Simple stuff. If they don't believe you, oh well, it's the truth.

My idiot friend called my boss at 3AM with my phone and hit on her while trying to impersonate me. I've dealt with worse.

Like I said, I don't have the number so I can't explain anything. Hopefully if the person is really peturbed, then he/she will notify me.

I just hope they ignore it and move on

Yeah, that's the case most of the time. Slim chance the person ever text you again unless you somehow got on his contact list and will probably forget about you, unless by slim chance you somehow get into a text convo again.

So, your friend sent the text, and then deleted the sent text?

Usually, a phone keeps a copy.

Mine doesn't, only if you save it to the outbox.

However, the person texted me again and I apologised. The person responded:

"lol my friends do that all the time"

I think I'm safe, worried over nothing.
