Summary of Chain of Memories

Hiya!

I don't have a GBA so I can't play Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. So, I thought that maybe someone can give me a great, detailed summary of the game. I'm just wondering what it's all about. I've tried researching on the game, but I can't seem to find a good summary.

erm.. it would spoil other people who haven't played the game. ill just say that it's a lot like kh1 world wise, and has a lot to do with memories (the titele lol)

Sora defeats Org members as he progresses up the castle.

Sora, Donald, and Goofy enter Castle Oblivion. Where they find out from Marluxia that they need to go through their memories from the first Kingdom Hearts in order to find Riku and King Mickey. Who were trapped behind the realms of darkness when they and Sora closed the door. Sora, Donald, and Goofy go through all of the worlds. As they go along they lose the memories of the people in which they hold dear as Namine rewrites their memories to make them think that they're there to save her. As you get deeper within the castle you face other members from the organization. You'll also come to understand how memories are a chain that are linked together and has to do with the heart. (I'm not going to go into the heart thing.) You'll also face Riku's replica. He has been brain washed by Namine and thinks he is the one who made the promise to her to protect her and not Sora. So they fight. In reality neither had ever made any such promise. Because Sora had made that promise to Kairi. In the end when you beat Marluxia, Sora asks Namine to give him Donald, Goofy, and Jiminy Criket (I forgot to mention him earlier.) their memories back. Sora tells Namine that he will never forget her because the memory will always been in his heart. After that Sora, Donald, and Goofy jump into those white flower things. They stay there a year. And then you get the beginning to Kingdom Hearts II.

At the same time Riku and King Mickey are in the basement of the castle. Riku has to decide whether or not he will embrace the darkness or the light. Because he embraced the darkeness before it is now in his heart. It is so strong he now has to decide whether to accept it or not. It looks as if he almost doesn't have a choice. He also goes though most of the worlds. In the end he faces Ansem. The King decides to stay with him on his next journey once the battle is over. Riku doesn't chose the path to darkness or the past to light. He choses the road to twilight.

Unfortunately, i can't any game system yet. It's like my punishment or w/e, ugh.

That's a good idea, i'll try it soon. I went to Youtube to get cutscenes and w/e but it was useless cuz the videos were kinda hard to find [not those fan made video things].

I'm glad I could help. I'm sorry if you didn't understand it at first. I had did my best. I even pulled out my chain of memories to look at the journals to make sure it was all correct. Hopefully you wont be confused now and you'll understand Kingdom Hearts II better. Funny thing is I never got to finish the second KH or the first one because I don't have a PS2. I had to play at my godmothers house. I played over the summer and once school got started again (my mom who doesn't' understand video games) was like heck no. So I never finished.

Well, i do hope that you get to finish the games cuz they are worth playing. I love the storyline and plot and everything. In my opinion, its a meaningful game!
