So basically, I just found my SMS and i was playing it. I miss playing it now and i remembered how much fun I had with this game. the F.L.U.D.D idea IMO was great. I've heard alot of people putting it down while they praise Galaxy and vice-versa. I'm just a Mario fantatic, so just slap on the Mario tag and im up for it. Atleast, I have to try it right? lol anyways. Tell me which game ou prefered and why. What were your pros and cons about this game?

Galaxy. By far.

It's just my kind of game. You have more freedom and you aren't limited to an Island...

mario sunshine can be extremely painful and hard in some parts. mario galaxy has somewhat a moderate level. both games are fine i guess.

mario sunshine does seem more fast paced than mario galaxy. that's a noticeable difference.

In terms of the levels. There's just so much more space (no pun intended). And bosses require just a bit more strategy to defeat. Though I must admit SMS was challenging in some places, like the hotel part. Oh dear God I hated that.

i prefer galaxy although i really don't get why people bash sunshine so much, yeah it didn't have that super mario 64 touch to it but it was still a good game. galaxy to me has more of that feel that SM64 had, with all the differetn worlds and such, everything just felt expanded while SMS had that somewhat smaller feeling to it. i think it was because because of the tropical setting

in terms of difficulty i'd say galaxy is easier unless you are going for all 121 stars, which some can be so ****ing annoying, like the manta races and the rolling ball one

in gameplay i say galaxy was more fun, it had good motion controls and good platforming

Galaxy is out of the world compared to Sunshine. [shitty attempt at pun]

Also, Sunshine wasn't that great. So much more to do in Galaxy.

Galaxy overall.

Graphics
Gameplay
Replayability
Fun

Epic! Sunshine was a great idea at the time but it's predossesser Galaxy is everything sunshine isn't, even without analog camera control (which blowed in sunshine anyway)

The only reason why people hated Sunshine compared to the other marios, was the Pre-Rendered mario in the opening cutscene.

Bottom line, Mario Galaxy is the true successor to Mario 64. Sunshine was just to tie people over.
