Oh god that ending, holy crap. Even just being an okay episode, that ending has me so freaking excited for the next. Crazy good cliffhanger.

If Telltale knows how to do anything, they certainly know how to end an episode of a game. I don't think I've been disappointed with the ending of any episode of any of their games I've played, they keep it interesting.

Meant to talk about this a few days ago but better late than never. I thought it was really good and the surprises at the beginning and end of the episode were great. The direction you can take Bigby in this episode is really interesting too, for example being able to take Dee's and Georgie's money and being able to destroy the Pudding and Pie were funny choices, I didn't do either of course because Bigby is a good sheriff. :P I also enjoyed the voices of Lee, Clementine (twice), and Kenny from the Walking Dead series appearing in this episode. All I could hear when Beast was yelling was Kenny. xD And Dave Fennoy has such an awesome voice doesn't he? I also like the longer glimpses we're getting of Bigby in full wolf form in the previews.

Well, that was quite the episode. Crane didn't do it. Who takes such a compromising photo, then neatly puts it in an envelopment and leaves it behind at a crime scene. For that matter who leaves all that evidence behind. Calling it now, Crane is being set up. Either someone was glamoured as him, or someone interrupted his sexual act, knocked him out, and killed the girl.

That's what I thought as well, I mean how can you leave all of those photos behind? Did you notice the glamour box that lands on the car seat next to Crane in the next episode preview? I think someone is being forced to be him.

So, question.

Did anybody see Prince Lawrence in Episode 2? My little preview at the end of Episode 1 showed him and Bigby conversing outside at night time in Episode 2, yet he wasn't anywhere to be seen at all once I actually played through it.

This has been bothering me all night, anybody?

He died in my playthrough but he survived in my sister's and he didn't appear in episode 2 when she played either. I'm sure he will appear again sometime though.

You are right about that. Even though I don't want the end of the episodes to happen I do look forward to how they end each episode. xD

I went ahead and reviewed Ep 2 if you're interested

Nice review. I do agree that my only problem was the length. The first three chapters took a good amount of time but then the last two happened very quickly. Hopefully the wait will be shorter and the episodes will be longer.

Remember how Crane acted when Bigby and Snow were analyzing Lily's body? Clearly, something was up. He insisted that only a troll would have relations with a troll. The pictures just prove that Crane was having relations with Lily. Now, you can argue that THAT Crane was an impostor, but that is basically saying this Crane was always an impostor. It just doesn't make sense given what we know about the story.

As for the pictures, clearly Crane has some heavy issues here. It isn't so strange that someone photographs or tapes their escapades to get off at later times. 207 was Crane's own personal room and no one else would have entered it. Beauty's key didn't even work on that lock and Pudding and Pie's staff are under some sort of spell that would never allow his secret to leak out. Considering the only reason this case started was because of TJ, it was a pretty clean plan. Mistakes happen when you don't believe you can get caught.

Even then, he meant to hide them. They were hidden under the carpet, but during the murder, the carpet shifted.

Okay, glad to know it wasn't just me then, because I have been very curious regarding the matter since it seems like it could be a major thing.

I have looked at the old preview for Episode 2 and realized the previews mean absolutely nothing. They are not the same scenes at all. We don't meet Georgie like that. Beast finds out in the motel. It is entirely different. So, it might mean nothing that Lawrence is alive in your story.

Shit, Bigby has Crane over the Witching Well. If that doesn't happen next episode, then previews aren't going to be entirely true.

I considered the ep 1 preview to be a preview of the season as a whole... But that's just me. I figured that would explain the scenes we didn't see in ep two

That's possible. We do see that more and more nowadays with television; The first episode of a new season likes to give a season preview at the end as opposed to just 'in the next episode', so perhaps Telltale is just taking that approach. I guess time will tell

Yeah I thought that too especially after what happened in episode 2. Bigby holding Crane over the Witching Well may happen in episode 3. Also both of the previews so far has shown Bigby fully wolfed out and i'm assuming we'll see more of that in each preview until he actually transforms in episode 5. Just my guess.

Okay, so Monday I looked up a release date for episode 3 and got nothing. Now I just read an article saying it was released yesterday? What the hell Telltale? I haven't checked yet myself, but ign already reviewed so I'm assuming it's legit. I'm glad it's out, but really, the other day they said the only news they could provide us with was new concept art, but they couldn't tell us a date when they were just going to release it a week or two later?

This ep definitely was me playing Overprotective Bigby because I love my girl Snow.

Also, I absolutely loved the introduction of Bloody Mary. She's so wicked

So I had kind of forgotten about Wolf and so yesterday I thought I should look it up to see if there was any news and to my surprise I find out it's been released! :p

So did I. She's pretty brutal, especially after what she did to Bigby's arm. D: After the initial shock of seeing Crane as the culprit last episode I started to feel that he probably wasn't the killer. Some interesting developments this episode. Anyone know of any major changes between the three locations you can go to? I went to Crane's apartment first and found Jack there, then went to the Tweedle's office and found Flycatcher (who I think is a pretty cool character) cleaning up Bluebeard's mess, and then talked to Greenleaf but let her keep her tree. What did you guys do? Also did anyone kill Tweedle Dum? I let him live but I wonder how killing him would affect the characters. This new turn in the story with The Crooked Man and Bloody Mary should be mighty interesting.

Playing this game makes me feel like a real life motherfucking detective. Man do I hope they give this the season 2 treatment down the line.
