Hi there! Sorry, but currently I just don't have the time to update my story with any regularity! I might actually close this thread, depending on upcoming events. I apologise, and I wish you a good day! ♥
Hayo! This is my first Fanfic, but I'm trying my best. I'll try to keep grammatical and punctual errors to a minimun, but everyone makes typo's. Also, since this is my first, I took it from an easier angle for me, wich is why I made a lot of people up. And since Sora mostly gets the spotlight, I decided to give Riku a chance to escort the Herione of my story. We'll see how it works =D I plan on about 13 chapters, but I'm not sure. The first chapter is short, I know, but chapter two should be longer.
Please enjoy! Comments and constructive critisism is welcome! Thanks much, hugs!

{Chapter One} ~^^^~
Takil Taheiliar was floating in eternal darkness, with no body, no thoughts, only a drifting soul. There was no sound, no feeling. Time did not exist. But in the outside world, where there was time, it would be said she had been there for over three hundred years.
She floated in the darkness, in a deep sleep, that was suddenly disrupted by a tiny pinprick of light. It grew in size, slowly but surely, until it was a blazing sun shining amidst the dark. As it grew, it thinned in the middle, and then ripped open. Sound crashed down on Takil's sleeping soul, wind sounded like a hurricane, waves sounded like a tidal wave. The light focused on Takil, sucking her in. Takil struggled against it, but she was already touching it. Her consious suddenly returned, and her first thought formed. All she got was "Oh Hell-" before she fell through the portal of light.

On the other side, I landed on a rather lumpy bed. I had my body back. I looked about twenty-two, with long, black wavy hair and bare skin pale in the moonlight. My silver glowing eyes quickly took in my surroundings and filed away every detail. Then I noticed the bed was wiggling around. A head appeared, took one look at me, and disappeared again. "Put some clothes on." it grumbled.
I hadn't been in the real world long, but memory was returning fast. I climbed off the bed and carefully wrapped a towel around myself. The head reappeared, then the rest of the body when it saw I was decently clothed.
I smiled. "Hello there. I'm Takil. And you are...?" I stopped smiling when I felt my sharp canine teeth. I held out a hand instead, but brought it back when I saw my long black nails were sharpened to points. I didn't want to scare the kid. He was the only one around who could tell me what was going on.
"My name is Riku..." he said groggily. He had long pale hair and pale blue eyes. He was wearing pajama bottoms and a white t-shirt. "Er, how did you get here?"
I ignored this question. "Where are we?"
He ran a hand through his hair. "My house, Destiny Islands." he said simply. He was waking up now.
"Never heard of it." I glanced out the open window. "And no wonder. Looks like a second rate world to me."
The poor kid was obviously confused. He tried to get out of bed, got caught in his sheet, and tripped. I reached out to catch him... but he fell right through me.
He landed with a thud. He picked himself up slowly and turned to face me. I stared at him. Then I scrambled out the window, my towel dropping behind me. I heard him called out, but I just kept running.
I stopped on the beach. The water was a clear blue. I dipped my foot into the rushing tide. There was no ripples, no feeling of wetness. I concentrated on my foot... and suddenly the tide was rushing around my foot. I stepped back, my foot damp. I concentrated on my body... there. Now I was wearing a loose black dress, a wide belt cinching my waist. I turned around. The boy, Riku was staring at me. "How did you do that?" he asked quietly.
I sighed. "Look. My name is Takil Taheiliar. I come from the world Carthea. Cartheans... well, let's just say we weren't known for our hospitality. We were a cruel, evil people." I shook my head sadly. "You probally don't want to assosiate with me."
Riku didn't seem to care. "What do you mean 'were'?"
I sighed again. He wasn't getting the point. "The light banished my people to eternal darkness. That where I was before the light set me free. Now, I'm just a half being."
He nodded. "Why did the light let you out?" He appeared geniunely curious. It bugged me. "The Prophecy says the light will chose someone to lead the Cartheans back to the light. I'm obviously the 'Chosen One'.", I said angrily. I turned my back on him and dipped my feet into the water. My left hand was holding something. I hadn't noticed before. I opened my hand and stared at the jeweled tiara. It was simple, worked in silver and diamonds, with one large stone shaped as a cresent moon set in above the rest. It irritated me even more. It was the tiara Cartheans were given when they were dubbed as great leaders or thinkers. The heroes wore this.
I rounded on Riku. "I'm not a hero!" I snapped. "But I know I have to help my people. The Prophecy said there would be a 'guide'. You are the guide. If you don't like it, deal with it. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do, but I know where to go. Find some way for us to get back to my world. Now."
He didn't even blink. He just nodded. "I knew it wouldn't be quiet forever" he mumbled. Louder he said "My friend has something that can get us around. Just let me change first, okay?"
I was taken back. I expected some sort of resistence. "Hurry and pack." I said slowly. He turned obediently and walked back to his house. I followed him.
He packed a few things and changed into baggy pants and a vest over a t-shirt. I got to know a bit more about this stranger. He was nice, kinda cute, and he even had a funky looking weapon, some sort of winged key. When he was done, we went outside. He started walking towards a beaten path (not even paved. It really was a second rate world) but I stopped him. "Where is this... thing that can get us to other worlds?"
"Well, it's parked down there, further down the beach, but I have to ask before I take it."
"Just leave a note or something." I said impatiently. "We have to go now. I want to get this over with."
He hesitated, but he finally agreed. In short order we were inside a strange ship. "This is a gummiship. I'll be driving, I don't think you know how." He found a peice of paper and a pencil. He scratched away for a few minutes while I explored the ship. It looked complicated to me. I came back to Riku. "Are you done yet?" He glared at me, scribbled something else, and put it down.
"Okay. Let's go." he said. He sat in front of the panel of controls, and was about to grab hold of the controls when I cried out. "Wait!" I placed the tiara carefully on my head, arranging it to perfection. "I'm ready." I smiled mischievously. He glanced at me, then pushed a few buttons. Abruptly we were soaring through the stars.
~~~~
A spikey haired kid ran down the beach, stopping before the place where he normally parked his gummiship. A note was lying on the sand. he picked it up and read it quickly.
Sora's eyebrows rose as he read it. A girl appeared by his side. "Sora, what happened? Where's your gummiship?"
Sora gave her the letter. "Riku just ran off with some girl!"
The end of chapter one! I hope you like it. Comment and critisize to your hearts content, but try to be nice about it, please. I know it's not very good, but I think it's fine for a beginner Fanfic. Thanks, again!~
Sora, I'm sorry I took your gummiship.
I 'll explain later, but I may not be back for a while. I promise to return your ship.
I'll be fine, so don't worry about me. I know Kairi left her brush at my house, but she won't find it there. Takil really wanted one, for some reason. She's starting to get angry with me, I have to go. Take care, Riku.
