Good developers like Valve and MediaMolecule have an email address they ALWAYS read and reply to personally.

But Nomura isn't a good developer.

Or, as Free Radical once did, before they went into administration and got absorbed by Crytek, good developers also have members on at least the biggest fansite for their main game (in their case, TimeSplitters), who actually use some of the ideas members suggest. This apparently happened with the original incarnation of TS4.net (TS3.com or something like that). The other site ended up getting closed down shortly after TS: FP was released, partially because lots of flaming and shitty staffing, apparently. Up until the collapse, they did the same on TS4.net (started by a former non-EA hired employee mod).

Anyhow, I heard the wonders Valve does for it's fans and how it even tried to make the TF2 add-ons free for the 360, but Microshaft wanted them to cost money, so it lead to problems. You could say Epic's done a half-decent job, but it also took awhile to influence them to put up some more dedicated servers after Midway's collapse (Midway used to do that.) and they've only released two packs (for free), despite hinting at releasing more after the first one.
