Later during the story, Xemnas appears along with Braig to Sora and reveals the true reason behind Organization XIII. The formation of the sinister group was to assemble 13 beings of strong hearts to be used as vessels of darkness to store fragments of Master Xehanort's heart in order to turn them into clones of himself. Then with his clones, Xehanort would combat the seven defending lights of the worlds to recreate the X-Blade to unlock Kingdom Hearts and incite another Keyblade War. His Heartless counterpart in the meantime targeted the seven Princesses of Heart through the manipulation of Maleficent in order to eliminate their hearts of pure light and make the worlds defenseless against the great darkness and unleash billions of more Heartless into the universe. Braig reveals himself to being the first of these clones before becoming a Nobody, telling Sora that he has a fragment of Xehanort's heart inside him and is already half of Xehanort (explaining why he was a yellow eye and pointed ears). Braig's motive for agreeing with Xehanort's plans was so that he would be able to wield a Keyblade once becoming a full clone, though he would slowly lose his will and mind to Xehanort in return.

Xemnas also reveals that nobodies are indeed capable of cultivating hearts again within them over time and develop emotions as in the case of Roxas, Namine, and Axel. However, knowing that the members of Organization XIII wouldn't suit his plans if they grew hearts back, Xemnas and Braig deceived all of them by telling them that the only way to recover their hearts is through establishing Kingdom Hearts. Once Kingdom Hearts was finished, Xemnas intended to use it's power to fill every member of the organization with fragments of his heart and darkness, but almost all of them, except for Xigbar and Saix, proved to be too weak or turned traitorous. Xemnas reveals however that he predicted this and took precautions to recreate the Organization through the enlistment of his younger self, who crosses space and time to gather Xehanorts from different timelines to fill in the empty ranks of this new Organization. Sora is disgusted at how Xemnas and Braig have commissioned the heart as an experiment and tool to commit heinous atrocities to countless worlds and millions of innocents and fights Xemnas once again, who is soon defeated but escapes to join the rest of his counterparts.

.......damn......lol wait, so is sora encountering Braig or Xigbar? This is really confusing. Mostly because how were Xigbar and Saix the only ones who were strong enough? How does that work? Considering Luxord lasted longer than Xigbar. Also, what is the story with demyx, Luxord, Marluxia and Larxene? Lol PLUS why did Xemnas want to find Ven's body, and keep Aqua's armor and talk to it????? Lol still so many questions lol

See, I like everything so far and then it comes to a screeching halt with that time travel aspect. i feel everything else could easily work without that idea being added to the story.

braig before becoming xigbar was framented with xehanort's heart between the events of terra fighting him and the keyblade graveyard battle (as it says thats why his eye turned yellow and ears pointy) and Saix was framented because of his darkness was probably stronger then most and was Xemnas's second in command so they probably picked saix for that reason except I doubt he was as wanting as braig was. Luxord and the others probably werent trusted completely by them so thats why and I see it as a smart move. I think he's Xigbar still but yea not for sure until the american version comes out. The last 4 well he said the problems were either they were weak or traitorous larxene and marluxia were the 2nd and im guessing demyx and luxord were to weak to be vessels. Xemnas wanted to find ven's body im guessing to make him a vessel as well. and aqua's armor was maybe to find her as well or just lonely lol. He does seem to still have a little terra in him idk. (btw this is to Riku/Sora Rule)

So basically guys the whole goal of Xehanort and the whole problem is that Xehanort with his clones want to start the 2nd Keyblade war so that they can unlock Kingdom Hearts through the X-Blade, gain the power they need from it and destoy the Seven Princesses and Seven warriors of light and unleash the darkness throughout the universe with them leading the destruction. Xemnas and KH2 was getting the power of Kingdom Hearts and creating the Organization 13 of Xehanort's while Ansem Seeker of Darkness and KH1 was destroying the Princesses of Heart and make the worlds defenseless to the darkness and heartless. I would say I do like the idea a lot but the time travel thing is a little complicated and little wierd. But hey we cant do anything about it.

The point of the KH of peoples' hearts was to make Xemnas into a god-like figure so he can recreate the universe. The thirteen Xehanorts was probably unrelated.

you said the point of Xemnas plot was in KHII

but that has clearly been retconned since this game has been released. Apparently Xemnas true goal was already explained in the game and it wasnt that

Much like MX, Xemnas is a multi-tasker. MX planned on achieving KH before the end of BBS, but he still had his backup plans of Maleficent (her searching for the 7 hearts of pure light) and Braig (13 Xehanorts). Xemnas was busy cloning himself, finding the CoW, and finding ways to complete KH.

Well I guess it makes a bit of sense now...

See, I like everything so far and then it comes to a screeching halt with that time travel aspect. i feel everything else could easily work without that idea being added to the story.

And I strongly agree with this.

I like how they implemented Maleficent somehow into this mess. I just hope they stay true her spiteful motives and keep here a villain. That scene in KH2 still gives me nightmares...

Also I still really want to know why Xehanort felt the need to jack Ansem's name. If anything I guess it works in our favor to help distinguish between MX's what...five different forms?

maybe Xehanort stole Ansem's name because there was a little of Terra and because Terra despised Master Xehanort it only makes sense that Terra controlled Xehanort into not having that name anymore.
