"I know her, but I can't remember why. Wait, are you Eric's sister? Man, I haven't talked to him in a long time." Marx pushed his power harder untill he zoned out, still shooting fire to power the ship. Then he shook his head and returned to normal.

"Who's Eric?" Xparky asked curiously. She leaned against the rail again. She looked up towards the sky. "It's gray, now," she said as she pointed towards the sky. "We need to hurry." Man, she was hungry. She ignored it as much as possible. Then, she figured out a way to ignore her boredom and hungriness. She walked over to Marx. "Need help making the ship faster?" Xparky asked.

Will stared at the acrid smelling black destroyer as they sped away with wide terrified eyes...he had no idea as what to do and was afraid they would die as well....he looked to the remaints of what was the sun and sighed. "so this is how lives end...... in the darkness" and for a moment, he was sad... though he knew death was the fate of all beings mortal...he then looked down at the boats floor and felt for some reason stronger...

Xparky stared at Will. "That was really wise of you to say, Will." Xparky walked back to rail and leaned against it. "Well, Mr. Wiseguy, what do we do now?" she, too, looked at the remaints of the sun. "The sun's turin' gray as well," Xparky sighed. "But I'm sure Will saw that already," She turned to Will, "Right?"

ic: Maya looked at Marx and then said, "You look familar but I can't remember. And yes I am Eric's sister." When Xion said to hold on to something. She was holding the railing tightly and gave the boat some power to make it faster. "Hurry." Maya shouted. Maya used all her power to help out and she started to get weak but still managed to keep it up.

Xparky watched as they zoomed by. "Wheeeeeee! Thanks, Maya! We'll get there in no time!" She watched as it got blurier and blurier. Xparky was getting hope that they could save the world. "No really, Maya, thanks!" she said loudly over the splashing water and the wind. She turned to face Maya. She was looking tired or weak. "Why don't you slow down or stop for a sec, Maya? You're lookin' weak," Xparky suggested.

"I knew I knew you, last time I saw you and your brother he and I were almost thirteen and you were twelve. That was at the huge family get together where Uncle Iro created that huge bonfire by snapping his fingers." Marx smiled, hoping that Maya remembered him. Her brother and him had been tight, until Eric's dropping out two years ago.

Maya smiled then said "No, its ok. I'll continue. I'm usually like this but I'm ok." Maya slowed down a bit to catch up for a while. Maya looked at Marx and said, "Yea, I remember you. I was 12 when you two were almost 13." She look down and smiled, "Alot of funny memories. I can't remember where is my brother this time now." She finally caught up and this time, being more careful she continued on.

Xparky watched the two anxiously, she turned to Xion, who was steering the ship. She turned back to the cousins, who were staring at eachother happily, "Weird..." Xparky said slowly. She then turned around and stared into the water. It was still zooming by, but not as fast. She blinked and checked up on the sky again. This time, it was a darker gray, the sky and the sun. "Look, we don't have much time!" Xparky explained as she pointed at the sky again.

Maya looked up the sky and gasped. She then powered up as she had enough strenth to last. "Are you going to help? We don't have much time!" Maya said as she continues to give power to the boat. She looked up the sky and she noticed that it continues to turn more gray. She continued to gather strenth to try to make it faster.

"How can I help? I lost my powers. I can try though..." Xparky said. She tried to gather up her powers but fell over. She sat up rubbing her head "owie! That hurt!" Xparky saw a paper on the floor. "Huh? Check it out! It's a charm that brings your powers back! Yay!" She turned to Will, "Well, Smarty pants, you mind helping me make this potion?"

Marx looked up at the sky and suddenly a huge blast of fire shot from his hand. "Wait, I have an idea, I need someone to make sure I don't melt the ship, ok?" Marx then transformed himself entirely into fire a shot all of his power, body and all into the engine. Its speed increased by almost 10 fold.

"huh?sure...he said not sure how she had even lost her powers" he looked at the parchement and smirked " do i put glue on it and stick it on you, and mumble somtin?" he said trying to be a wiseguy."or should I read it first and see if we even have all the charm requires to work?" he said snatching the paper away and starting to read it, not making out, or able to read any of it "what is this stuff?" he exclaimed as he tried to decipher as to what was on the page, "scribbles?"

Maya stood back to make sure if the boat doesn't melt. Then she walked up to Will and looked at the charm. "I don't understand what it says." Maya looks carefully and then said, "I'm sure it does let you use your powers." Maya is still a lil concerned about the charm. Maya looked back at the boat making sure it doesn't melt. It begins to melt a little and then run up to Marx and said, "stop, it's melting."

"Marx pulled off some heat and soon the metal boat was returned to normal."Maya, thanks, I thought I needed to tone down the heat." Marx smiled, but no one could see it since he was inside the engine. Marx turned back and focused his attention on sending the ship forward even faster.

The ship skipped over the waves a few seconds longer before slowing to a steady pace. "That was great guys!" Xion said over his shoulder."As a team the five of us can stand up to those things!" He said to himself confidently.He looked towards the back of the ship. The island was just a speck now...He could see the last of it melting away.'Oh well...' Xion thought. 'At least my memories can never be melted away,huh?'. He locked the steering wheel, making sure they continued north, and walked out onto the deck. Standing next to Maya and looking over her shoulder to see what she was looking at. There seemed to be a piece of paper in her hands with a sort of spell on it, but he couldn't understand the writing, it resembled earthworm tracks. "What is this for? Where'd you get it?" He asked.

"It's a potion that brings our, or that is, my powers back!" Xparky explained to Xion. She looked up at the sky. It was still the same as had been, ten minuets ago. "What are we going to do when we defeat the Dark God...uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...I can't remember his name.....uhhhhhhhh..." Xparky turned to Will. "Let me see that!" She took the paper from him. "This is easy! What are you guys talking about it says-" Xparky said before looking at it. When she tried to read it she said, "uhhhhhhhh...it says...uhhhhhhh," she turned it sideways. "Uhhhhh...it says, it says....uhhhhhh..."

Maya then remembers what language is that and then said, "It's a potion that you have to chant after you drink it or something. I heard it from another person who used that same thing before I met you guys." Maya then tries to remember how the chant goes but couldn't remember a thing. She looked back at the shore as the boat continues to go north and then crossed her arms. "I can't remember how the chant goes."

"Oh come on! someone has to know!" Xion said, leaning his hands on the railing, the wind blowing his hair in his eyes as he looked towards the open sea. The sky was beginning to return to normal now that they had gone a far distance from the island. He wondered how long it would take them to reach land again, as the stars began to shine in the sky. 'Hmm, maybe someone in the land wherever we're headed will know...' He thought.
