The Dark Solstice

"uhhhhhh......." Xparky said as she tried to read it, clearly uhhing so loudly she didn't hear what Maya said. All she heard was, "You drink. I heard it from another person before I met you guys." Xparky looked at Maya weirdly. "I may act crazy, but that doesn't mean I drink beer!" She just noticed Maya's arms were crossed. "Don't be mad because you're wrong. A lot of people think that I'm drunk."

OOC: sorry for the randomness but I couldn't think of anything else to write! *Act as if worried*

 

[Nunni856]

"We'll ask someone as soon as we get to the land over there." She points north where the land is at and then uncrossed her arms. "All I remember is that after you drink it, you have to chant the words to make it work." Maya leans against the railing and the wind blows her hair in front of her eyes and she pulled her hair back as she gets annoyed by the wind. "I didn't say I was mad...did I? And I wouldn't think that you drink beer." Maya said as she looks at Xparky.

"uhhhhhh.... never mind..." Xparky said as she leaned against the rail also. "Well, at least now I know that you don't think I drink!" . "Xion, what's gonna happen after we save the world? I guess we can't go back to the Island huh?" Where are we gonna live? she thought. "I think we're almost at land." Xparky said, looking towards the land that they were heading for. "I'm gonna miss that island." she said quietly as she watched the island completely disapear from their sight.

Xion laughed at the randomness. He thought about how much it would suck if his sister couldn't get her powers back. "Don't you see? That islands been comeletly decayed, we couldn't go back even if we wanted to..And as for where we're gonna live, I don't know...Don't worry, I'll think of somethin sis ^^" He ruffled her hair and walked past, to the front of the ship and leant against the railings there. The wind was blowing and it was dark now. 'This is really nice' He thouht.

Xparky turned to Xion. "And when will that be?" Horrible thought were going through her mind. "What if we don't make it..." She said quietly. "Seriously, what can we do? We're just five kids! How can we defeat a God?" She turned around to face the ocean. "I wish that I could've died with the rest of our family...it'd less painful than how we would die if we don't succeed..." For some dumb reason, she turned into a cat and squeezed into a little hole in the floor and looked up at Xion.

OOC: depressing, I know. But once again, I didn't know what else to write.

Xion looked down and the little nose and whiskers sticking out of the hole. "Hey, you don't have any faith in me or what?" He said, laughing. He pulled the kitten out of its hole and it turned into his sister again. "Stop worrying. We'll get through this just fine. Remember, Raidon's with us." He said, looking out over the water, and he thought he saw a mirage of the wolf running across the waves, next to the boat in the same direction they were headed. He knew they were going the right way. Then the wolf disappeared.

Maya looked up at the sky and it begins to return to normal. Then she noticed Xparky turning into a cat. She looked north and see that we almost about to arrive at the land. She starts getting sleepy and manages to stay awake. She stretches as the worst is over and then said, "well now that's over we can rest." Maya said.

 

[Perception╘Truth]

"Rest would be nice, thanks." Marx turned off the heat and turned to Xion. "Your turn to power us there. I put a flower in the engine so electricty works on the engine too. I'm taking a nap. Have fun." Marx smirked and found a bunk in one of the rooms. He laid down and fell straight to sleep.

Xion knelt next to the engine, placing his hands on it to power the ship. He looked over and saw Maya and Xparky nodding off to sleep. He felt himself getting abit tired as well. A few minutes later, he let go of the engine, deciding to let it be pushed by the sea currents, sat and leaned against the railing of the ship and fell asleep.

Maya awoke by the movement of the boat. She got up and see that the sky is back to normal. She looked north and noticed that we're near the land. Very near and she got exicted. She went up to Xion and Xparky and said, "Hey, we're near the land." Maya got up and looked north again and see some houses. She isn't sure if it's a house because they're still a bit far away from the land. She squinted her eyes and then waited for Xion and Xparky to wake up.

 

[Zabazu]

Will got up and looked out at the sea. He looked towards the direction the island used to be in, and sighed. "Do you think We'll ever go back there?" he thought out loud, not really asking anybody the question as the boat skidded across the silent looking water.He turned around to see what was on the other side of the boat to see Maya awake and squinting at a house-like object in the distance.

He then turned to the engine and thought will this thing last till freaking shore?. Will looked at it and chuckled to himself about how it will probably explode before they hit shore. He picked a large spot to lay down in and put his sword down in his harness next to it.He fell asleep shortly after, even though the engine was starting to annoy him.

Xion awoke just as he felt the ship bump gently against one of the piers in the dock of some harbour. "We're here!" He said, getting up quickly. He saw Will get up too. He ran to the back of the boat and let go the anchor. He walked back to the top of the ship, excited. He jumped of the edge of the boat onto the pier and looked over his shoulder. "Coming, guys?" He said, grinning.

"wha- huh?" Xparky asked sleepily. She saw Xion on a pier and jumping around very excitedly. "Just five more minuets, Xion!" She closed her eyes again and bumped her head on the rail. "okay, okay! I'm up, gosh!" She stood up and jumped down from the edge of the boat next to Xion. She was still rubbing her eyes, and ocasionally, okay, all the time, she would yawn. Her vision got blury.

Xion tapped her forehead. "Snap out of it!" he said. He walked a little way down the pier, observing the city beyond. Most of the buildings where blue, and there seemed to be market places everywhere. He couldn't wait to look around.

Maya looked and saw that we're finally here. "About time." Maya got off and landed on the water of the ocean. She walked towards Xion and looked around and see buildings. "Do you think they could help us out?" Maya asked. Maya walks towards the building and then looks back waiting for the rest to come. Maya thought this is a pretty place and wants to look around. There's alot of things to try out too.

Xparky's vision got better. "Thanks." She looked out towards the town and ran to stand next to Xion. "Woah!" she pointed at the town. "Awesome!" She ran to look at some of the stuff in the Market Places. She saw a two-tailed fox and wanted it badly. "Xion! Can I keep it?" She stared at the fox. She wondered if she could still turn into a cat even after the potion was complete. I hope not! she thought.

OOC: after Xparky gets her powers back, she won't be able to turn into a cat. Just so you know. I think it was pointless for her to turn into a cat so I'm taking it out.

"Ehhh sure why not?" he said, laughing. The fox jumped into his sisters arms. He tried to touch it, but it snarled at him and a spout of fire shot from its mouth. Xion jumped back "The hell?! A fire breathing fox?!" He remembered his dad saying something about how rare animals could be bearers too, but he'd never believed it. Making sure to keep his distance, he asked Xparky "So, what're you gonna name that thing?"

 

[Zabazu]

Will looked at the fox oddly, it looking at him back growling....what the hell.....He turned around and walked up the street, wondering what he was going to do here. He looked at a cart full of apples and plucked one out, asking how much it was he got his response, and left.feeling hungry because he didnt have any currency from this place.

He kept walking down the street and saw a dog, playing with some kids. They threw a stick and the dog ran after it. Will kept walking and sat down by a riverfront.

Xparky had her first real pet and she was excited. She pet the fox's head and giggled as she watched Xion step away from the fox. "ummmmmm... I don't know...let's see...Feuer." She saw the confusion on Xion's face. "It's fire in German." She continued petting the fox. She looked up at the salesman, "Is it a he or a she?" When the man told her it was a boy, she asked Xion, "Can I go buy food and toys and stuff for him?" she saw that he was going to say no. "With my own money! Gosh!"
