The final battle between Master Xehanort and Sora...where should it take place?

That would actually be a perfect way to end it. So long as they don't cause the same collateral damage that the last keyblade war did on all these different worlds.

I was imaging a type of Xemnas battle myself. A few changes of scenery as Xehanort tries to use the Xblades power. Only for it to display the same level of recognition as normal Keyblades and abandon him by choosing a wielded of its own.

Yep, and then imagine the X-blade choosing...Donald.
Not only would he have difficulty lifting the huge thing, the hilarious "Whaaaaaat!?" faces of the whole cast would be 1000 times better than those delivered when Lea summoned his Keyblade.
I can only imagine the "smart" comment someone like Braig/Xigbar would give at such a development.

i think it would be cool to see sora, or even goofy have it. i imagine a nice plot twist, the final battle isn't the final battle, the x-blade is formed but it needs to charge, so the 7 lights hold onto it like an elder wand/ring to rule them all type macguffin. they are all corrupted by it whenever wielding, as it "talks" to them, so they have to take shifts (which can be a gameplay mechanic).

donald is promised ultimate power, mickey a forever peaceful kingdom, kairi hears static because pure light, etc. whenever goofy has it, all he does is argue with it, riku hears ASOD's calling him, and nobody let's sora wield it for whatever plot reason xehanort fed them (once sora uses it, he will doom the worlds or whatever). during the final battle, sora unleashes it's full power against MX, remaining himself.

MX: kingdom hearts... in the hands of a mere child? how?
sora: there's one thing you didn't plan on, xehanort! i've had voices in my head for years!

I know this would never actually happen, but I think you just came up with THE best theoretical conclusion that I've ever seen.

Fitting end to the man who made everyone he met be in horrific forms of prisons in different forms all because he wanted to be a god.

Destiny Islands. Sora is struck down by Xehanort. A more powerful version of the guardian is holding Sora's allies back. (I'm imagining the end only has Sora, Donald, Goofy, Kairi, and Riku. The original main characters) The sunlight increases, while Xehanort is conveniently basking in the shade of a tall palm tree. Xehanort raises the X-Blade, ready to end Sora's life, when suddenly, a coconut from the tree falls down on Xehanort's head, knocking him off, balance, splitting the coconut in two. Some of the delicious milk from the coconut slides down Xehanort's face, and some of it gets into his mouth, and he loves it. He decides that his old prison wasn't so bad after all, and he's going to go back to school and get a real job, so he can raise the money to open a resort on the island, and patent the delicious milk.

hahaha well I like the idea of switching between characters, like the Sora and Riku style you guys mentioned (battle with Xemnas in KH2) for the final clash with Master Xehanort, but also referring as changing battles in using all the lights. I was later thinking and that could be handle like in KH BBS where you had to play with all three Aque, Terra and Ventus, but imagining to play with all seven lights would be kinda tiring, I would not mind, but it would be to much.
As for the fight ending at Destiny Island, I had never thouth about it.

- If something like that was to happen, I bet we would not play/battle for to much time in destiny Island, I bet most of it would end up as a super mega cut-scene/ending. But it would be a good "tripleta" sandwich
- I like the idea of fighting through various worlds in one final epic battle.

An epic 1v1 showdown on a Station of Awakening? Absolutely classic. It'd be a great way to play out the very final clash, and still have a bunch of other stuff before it. Plus it'd (probably) get rid of Xehanort for good by smashing him up from the inside.
