The gameplay video wasnt all that special, it pretty much just showed yuo an extended version of the gameplay in the trailers nothin really new, but was the guy playing the demo an ordinary guy or did he work for SQUARE?

The video would have been better if a better player was at the controls. He was most likely someone who managed to get in E3
He was a representative at the Buena Vista booth. The reporter dude said so when he made the introduction. His name is Ryan and his purpose was to show off the game and its functions not to so much play it. He wasn't some random person playing the game like in all of the other gameplay clips. After all the whole point of an interview especially an interview about a game is to go over how it works and talk about what its about and stuff.
