But I can totally disprove this statement and say they do. I remember some time ago I said I wanted Leonard Nimoy in the game (before they started working on the English version) and then a few months later we get Leonard Nimoy as MX.

Or VT said he wanted Mark Hamill then a few months later we get Mark Hamill.

Or the time some people joked about there being a Sora clone. Then look! We got Xion.

Okay, so those are bad examples but still. It is still likely they come look on these sites to at least see the opinions of fans. It isn't uncommon at all, really. I can tell you writers from shows like House, Heroes, Lost, and whatnot would go onto fan communities and see what the fans were saying.

Or the big example I have of ST and how Orci and Kurtzman float around the fan sites. Not often but they do.

Robert Orci and Alex Kurtzman. They were the two head writers for the Star Trek movie that came out last year. They also wrote for a bunch of stuff like Watchmen, Transformers, and a few other films. They also created Fringe with J.J. Abrams. Those three hang out a lot.

Not really. Some creators like it when their fans figure stuff out. It shows that they understand the storyline. They wouldn't change it, just because a handful of fans guessed the answers. There were still millions of fans who didn't even know about LS and didn't connect the dots.

They don't necessarily study the forums. They just look at them, read some things and vanish like they were never there.

On youtube, KeyToTruth told me that he was planning on doing a hack to where you can play as Vanitas in Ventus's scenario (he did one for Terranort in Terra's story) so we'll see how that goes.

I'm not so sure...Nomura always does talk about the fans and how we want something, so I'm sure he is in touch with them at least. He usually decided on the FF characters by seeing what the fans wanted, so he had to have looked around the Japanese forums in the very least.

And I know that a few SQEX NA workers used to hover about the forums. Not these forums, per say, but forums in general.
