I don't think any KH trophy will ever drive me as mad as the gummi missions in KH1, except for maybe ice cream beat in BBS.

This is what kept me from platting KH1. I was even willing to finish the game three times since trophies didn't stack back then, but the gumi ship missions and that ice cream **** was just too awful for me.

At the moment I'm trying to plat Adventures of Mana on PS Vita. I got it under control as far as I see, got all the weapons and shields and helmets, but I probably still lack one or two items. You have to have owned every item at least once, but since your inventory is limited and you can carry about 12 items (from 40 or so), it's a real pain to know which ones I already owned. For some, I know for sure (like Potions or Ether) but for some I have to go back and farm them just to be sure which sucks really hard because I don't have a teleport spell or anything like that. -_- and I'm also not too fond of leveling up to 99 (currently on 44). Plus, it's really annoying that you have neither an item-based trophy and overview of already collected stuff nor a dictionary of enemy types met - the internet tells me whatever monster drops a possibly missed item but I don't know which monster that is, I can only take a guess based on the name. It's ... unnecessarily exhausting. Sigh.

So I started Stories: The Path of Destinies last night and I've already got 42% of the trophies. Trust me, you can get through this but you will absolutely at the end be so over the game.

Aww man, that's a damn shame. I've only done 3 playthroughs and unlocked 3 truths, and they were entirely different so far, but that sucks to hear that it becomes a chore to go through.

So does this mean that there isn't actually any way to fast forward to choices, like jump ahead in sections you've already played?

No there isn't. It would be a God send if there were.

No, you have to replay the same opening section, and then as your choices progress you will end up playing through the same areas and story but with slight differences. The end section is always the same as well, I believe.

Well, at least my expectations will be set straight now. I assume I'll really start feeling it after the True Ending then (I've done 3 runs and have gotten 1 new truth from each). I guess maybe once the monotony sets in I'll see if I can get myself to do one run through a day maybe.

I got the BBS platinum twice. And one of those times was in Japanese.
I hate Jump Rope, but for the LOVE OF FF 9, it cant be worse than that. xD I'm more concerned about Exkalibur 2

Everything that's required for the BbS platinum is a thousand times easier than FFIX, imo. I think I'll try and get as many trophies with IX as possible, but the platinum is certainly out of my reach.

I'm working on my BBS platinum for PS3 right now. Ice Cream Beat ain't got shit on Jump Rope. I mean, godspeed, I'm not saying you can't do it, but I certainly don't think it's worth it. I'm a trophy whore but I know my limits, and I'm not about to put forth the time to jump rope 1000 times straight without tripping. I tried my hand when I had more time as a kid on PS1 and I think I gave up at something around 230 because what's the point.

As for Excalibur 2, thats nothing but a speed run. Just skip everything and if you're only in it for the trophy, you can even use most of the mods. You need to do a near perfect speed run without mods, but even then I would rather do that than jump rope. Jump Rope was the first thing I looked for when the trophy list was revealed and as soon as I saw it I knew this plat was only for the most hardcore.

I got my platinum in Adventures of Mana yesterday :3 it was quite annoying near the end because I had to train to level 99 for one trophy ... I arrived at the foyer of the final boss at around 60 and it took me about 3 additional hours to grind. It felt so indescribably stupid ... I know some Kingdom Hearts games have the same trophy but there I at least had the feeling it would help me against some enemies. In AoM was not a single boss I had to retry and the boss was a real joke at that level.
Well, platinum number 22, who am I to complain. Took me bout' 33 hours, that's good for a plat in a RPG.

I gave up for now, but not forever.

And I finally got my second KH1 platinum. Gummi missions were, as I expected, even less fun in japanese than in a language I understand, and I hate everything about it and also enemy drops suck, but I'm glad it's done.
Moved on to Re:CoM 2, in order to get my very last possible KH plat before KH3 drops. FEAR ME, FOR I AM THE COMPLETIONIST 2.0.

I'm currently working on the Stories plat and as Chaser said, it's a pain. It's become a real chore and I only have half of the endings, but now I'm too far in and want to get that plat. That aside I play Dark Cloud and will get the platinum there. While I like the originality of the weapon system, I don't know how people can even praise the "story" in that game because it's practically non-existent. It's not that I don't have fun with the game, I like dungeon crawling and grinding and this is pretty much the essence of the game but I've read people claim it's a "must-play" RPG which it definitely isn't. Already bought Dark Cloud 2 / Dark Chronicle on PSN when it was cheap, hoping that might have a decent story.

I really look forward to Digimon Cyber Sleuth 2 because I enjoyed the hell out of the first game and plan to get it by release. Since I wanna get the plat again, I really hope there will be no missable trophies because I hate to replay games to fetch one or two trophies. As soon as I'm done with a game, I'm usually completely done and don't want to return anytime soon. Hope the trophy list leaks soon :3

There’s a free Jigsaw game called HiQ Ace on the EU/AUS store at the moment. Only has 5 trophies but they’re fairly easy to get.

Card Master Sora is a nightmare to complete. I hate that the game isn't transparent with the drop rates and a fatal flaw with Re:CoM is that there is no way to guarantee an enemy card being dropped. Why did the developers decide to make a room where you fight Shadows for paltry amounts of exp, but never consider adding something like a map card that makes enemies play only 9 cards, but an enemy card will always drop at the end of a battle and unlike other cards, it can be used with any other map card? It's also worse when the game drops literally every card except for White Rooms and the Random Jokers have the same function as Mingling World cards, except the description tricks players into thinking they can use it to make any room they want.

I finally, finally got the platinum in Stories: Path of Destinies. Had to do 7 more runs after I got all the endings including the true one to get to level 45 and learn all the skills. I am quite dissatisfied with the true ending, I have to say. Might be because

Reynardo ALWAYS fails at the other 25 endings somehow and in the true ending it goes conveniently for him - not getting killed by the possessed Zenobia or get his ship wrecked

or maybe my expectations were too high, whatever, I didn't find it satisfying. Immediately deleted it after I was done and happy to never get back.

As the icing on the cake, I got the platinum in Dark Cloud too. It was easier than I expected due to a tip a friend of mine gave me concerning leveling up weapons.

Now I'll try to the platinum in the only two Naruto Storm games I haven't played yet: 1 & 4. Let's see how it works.

I platted Life is Strange: Before the Storm the other day. And let me tell you, I just love that series so much. Chloe was my favorite in the original, and I may have liked this prequel even more than the original just because of how awesome they handled letting me play as her.

I'm actually replaying the first game on PS3 now, wanted to play it again after finishing Before the Storm and figured I would double dip the trophies.
