I just realized something. That girl,NaoNoa or whatever, her and her boyfriend weren't their most valued things! otherwise they would have lost eachother.

Like if

Ryan arrives in the game and must pair up with someone who lost control of their limbs (sports person in life) his own fee is one of his friends who is among the living.

During the game, He must fight the reapers, with a few aiding them, to get rid of corruption in the game.

Hmm... I'm not incredibly sure, but if there was to be a second, I wouldn't mind it to be something along the lines of having certain disabilites, but still having more access to things, etc. like a Reaper would

A sequel could well be in the works for one of Nintendo DS's hits of 2008 'The World Ends With You' but it might not return to the DS.

In an IGN interview with Tatsuya Kando, director of The World Ends With You, Kando discussed the possibility of a sequel but maybe not on the DS, expressing his interest in the Wii: "Even though the Wii and DS seem similar, the stylus and Wii-remote are completely different, so naturally some alterations would become necessary to adjust the game for the Wii."

Kando went on to talk about his appreciation of how the game has been recieved: "We're very thankful that this title has been received so well, and as we see that there is demand from both Japanese and American fans, we would definitely like to consider the possibility of a sequel. Since it is not possible to get right into development at this moment, please give us a little more time."
