They have to open the Door to Darkness in DDD

Even if Aqua and Ansem could get out through the Door to Light, you have to admit, having KH III set in a universe completely overrun by heartless would make for an epic climax to the saga.

My main problem with Aqua getting out through a door to light, that she herself created would be: why would it take her ten years to open one? Surely, through the power of Disney friendship and whatever she could have opened one at the end of bbs, when looking at her wayfinder or thinking of Ven and Terra. Unless the final reason becomes something like Sora is teh chosen one, therefore only he can open the door to light I wouldn't want her to get out that way.

Personally I love the idea of recklessly storming the RoD with the 3 keyblade wielders/masters(Post DDD assuming everything goes to plan for Sora and Riku) slaying endless hordes of heartless, but I doubt thats ever going to happen

Exactly this...while a door to light may be the most safe way to get out of the RoD (or travelling in general, as the Door to Light Ven conjured only led from Mysterious Tower to Land of Departure, thus from one in-between world to another), there must be some special requirement for it or Aqua would be already out of the RoD.

Sora storming the RoD with Riku and Mickey as party members to find Aqua and Ansem? Why not? Sounds fun...maybe that'll be exactly what will happen at one point in KH 3.

Only beings of pure darkness can cross through the door to darkness, both Aqua and Ansem the Wise are not pure dark beings, and Sora as well as Riku are neither.
The only one so far who can cross the door to darkness other than heartless would be Vanitas.

Opening the Door to darkness again would endanger the entire universe to be overrun by heartless, something Sora and co. won't risk to do, not even to save Aqua and Ansem.

Then explain how mickey and Riku were able to enter through the door? are you saying you can only enter but not leave that would make no sense.

Mickey was on the other side of the door to begin with. Riku didn't enter the RoD through the door, rather his heart just drifted there when it had no place to go.

Oh yea that's right I forgot about that final mix scene. Anyways, I have no clue how Aqyua will leave, all I know is that Nomura will probably make up some ridiculous thing and throw it in there.
