I'll take this up.

Battle type: Mano y Mano
Character type: Light-Power/Melee
Restrictions: Because I feel avatar last air-bender(ish), the magic portion will be replaced with Chi. Characters will draw from inner forces to manipulate or push something natural.

You can decide on a location, but my character will be hybrid terra/hydro-kinetic bender.

Alright then, guess the location will be a destroyed New York City, Manhattan 60 years into the future. Where most of mans technological wonders no longer to exist. The end of the world as we know it was destroyed by a new form of weapon, this weapon had a devastating effect killing 70% of the worlds population with only 3 of these weapons going off. The radiation would mutate humans rapidly within a single generation giving the new generation the power to control the material world. Even with the decrease in humans global warm has not stopped, the ocean levels have risen by 30 feet already flooding several coastal cities.

Name// Gene D. Ilgim
Age// 34
gender// male
Personality// From traveling the waste lands he has grown hard and cold, when he comes into towns to trade and such he puts on a calm happy facade. Though if one were to hang out with him they would see him for what he truly is. In battle he can often get lost in a moment and start to laugh, this would often be followed by erratic movements and recklessness. He despite all of this seemingly never gets mad, upset maybe, and occasionally annoyed which most consider odd, especially for these times. Lastly he seems to have no care for his life often doing reckless things for no reason what so ever, some wonder why he just doesn't end himself now.

Appearance// Gene has light blue hair, tan skin , light green eyes and is 5"6'. He wears tattered light cream cargo pants, a black leather coat with half of the sleeves torn off, black combat boots and a simple navy blue shirt with blood stains on it. He wears metal bracers on each arm. His combat boots ankles and soles are outfitted with a steel layer. Gene has one large scar going down from his right shoulder down to his wrist.

Weapon(s)// what ever is in his surrounding to use.

Power // electromagnetism followed by metal

Bio// He would live as an orphan in a small town in Georgia, he and the other benders in the town were put to hard labor by the older folks. They would work the children out for hours on end often tormenting the ones who did not meet the quota. At age 16 Gene was sick and tired of this, he and several others would start a rebellion using their powers to overwhelm the old folks and the rebellion would be successful. But not to long after the kids would act the way the older folks did by whipping those who they felt deserved it. So gene would leave the rotten town to travel on his own, he would travel though D.C. which was greatly destroyed in the war . It is sad he meet god like beings who greatly increased his power, he would stay there for 15 years before he would leave and head north.

U want the first move?

Here's my template.

Name
: Orizon
Other Names: Cal, Rio
Title: Quake
Age: 27
Race: Human/Chi-Conduit
Homeworld: Aiden(A parallel Mother Planet)

Appearance:
Like most water benders, the spanish term for it would be "moreno" meaning dark hair and dark skin. Essentially, Orizon's face has a strong disposition about it and two blue eyes reflecting that of his parents via inherited genes. His body a fairly adequate and slender build in lower and upper body. Covering his person would be the common attire worn by that of either the southern or northern water tribe. A long sleeved thermal blue shirt, with armored padding braced over the left and right arms and hands. Over this a blue vest with a dark blue edge coated to drop down to the waist and and fastened around the hip a white belt binding it together. Below this he wears dark blue pants loosely layered on the inside, yet tied down for when it comes to walking in snow. Over this is a short overlay for martial artist reflecting their respect for Tai Chi Chaun. A dark blue outline sheaths trail around the edges. Lastly two types of shoes often worn, the casual slippers for warmer climate, and boots for colder climate in combination with a hefty jacket made from a otterbear fur.

Personality:
Orizon has a versatile personality underneath the appearance of a waterbender. This doesn't exclude the mistakes he makes given what an ordeal each day brings, his attitude is often lenient to put it in the bold terms. This however doesn't appeal when coming under stressful situations that arise at unexpected points in time where he tends to be just a little more brash and forceful. The fluidity of his speech is diverse and he shows his edge of kindness and morality over just about everything.

Status:
Traveler

Affinity: Hydro//Terra

Techniques
:

Yang Style; Tai Chi Chuan
This is the noticeable style of a water bender with use of the power guided by the teachings of old. The body is loosened of stress and flows with gentle curvature for flexibility and peaking movement. The versatile motions bring with it the experience needed for many tougher battles. The strength of water bending lies not in it's ability to attack, but the extensive reach to through which it spreads for defense. In combination with this martial art the proportions of waterbending are set in stone reaching from the water whip, tsunamis, geysers, and the octopus form.

-Hungar ~ Animalistic Motion

~The Hungar is essentially a powerful series of strong stances and rooting to the ground below. This style of martial arts in the avatar world is said to of been first created by the badger moles. Corrective posture in its own aspects contribute to the power behind the respective movements. Following motions are vigorous stop, firm frontal assaults with exact mark stopping as momentum in released from each blow but clearly in place. Weight is centered and controlled putting more direction to the fist and feet. Practitioners are firm, calm, and controlling and never flinch by any means of intimidation as comes with the set inertia of "a rock". Hungar has powerful high kicks often aimed in between upper body and the face, which take the breath of an opponent with enough power slammed all at once. Its referred to animalistic motion given their genuine sense of communication with the ground itself, for hard power style it's given reference to the tiger, also in relation to the crane for soft power. It offers a certain brand of tuned awareness leaning for the sixth sense not dependent upon peripheral sight. Channeling chi into the ground, Hungarth Practictioners such as Orizon can feel the movement of enemies coming towards him, and use the chi within the ground to move the earth below raising slabs of rock with his chi for the offense. Earth of course is not just limited to rocks, dirt, and dust. Hungar practitioners have in rare cases been able to grip tightly and manipulate metal which is a composite form of earth and meld it as if it were a pebble, as following muddy water and soft sand given the deposits of dirt within.

Reverse Mantis ~ Seismically sensitive motion

~Reverse Mantis is a more adept style of rigid kung-fu in which the user initially folds their palms in the opposite way of a praying mantis. It falls heavily upon the power and rigidness of quick motions, noted from the side to side hops that a mantis does itself. The palm positions are for upward thrusting, and with the guidance of earth, that force releases earth from the ground much faster without the lag of 'stomping' primarily. The next portion of the style limbos between the feeling of seismic vibrations, giving away the location of an enemy, especially with those that cannot be seen in the immediate range. Retaliation is then based on the movement below or around said enemy.

Thermokinesis:
For the average waterbender that utilizes the powers handled and granted to the fullest extent, the three forms of water are used on every level. A waterbender naturally has a feel for each and converts water into a liquid, solid, or gas, even the in betweens such as snow, sleet, or flurries. It comes with an innate sense of temperature control and by will once perfected and be moved through the stages, yet often remaining in liquid as the most used state.

Mistbending & Icebending:
Two more that branch off from thermokinesis. Mist bending is the conversion of water by evaporating it and it levies in the air by supportive bending condensing in the atmosphere. On this event, a layer of mist, fog, or steam is created which mask location. Depending on the connection level of chi between a waterbender and his/her water, they can sense when something moves through it as though it were an abrasive extension to his or her arms. Now for the sister conversion of water into it's solid form of ice, it leaves to the distinguished water bending mostly by gasps of cold air and blowing over water causing it to freeze. The dynamics of icebending allow waterbenders to instantly change the water and create objects as large as glaciers. The possibilites seem to go on to even snow shoving.

Mudbending:
The only closest form of waterbending extremely in sync with earthbending. Mud contains water, and with ample amounts of it, a waterbender of high level can easily manipulate it and make it work for their advantage. Shaping of the mud into anything other than it's liquid form steps into the sturdy ridges of earth bending which makes things much more complicated meaning it can only be done in the form of a simple mud river, but still useful nonetheless. With the earthbending background as well this is exercised to it's fullest potential.

Sandbending:
In travels through the desert this was achieved by a tribe of bandits. Able to reshape the earth into its mose base form of the element and scatter it. Thus the creation of sand comes into effect, and to the extremities sand can be used, its likely to power wind sails across sand by dancing with the wind even though it lacks a general air-bender's touch. The other outlets stretch to push for sandstorms, sinkholes, and various formats of just sand itself.

Plantbending:
This shows there is yet another thing that can be manipulated with the supreme control of a master water bender. Able to take and bend the water within the vines of plantlife, from a tree's roots, numerous vines, and overall a sway of some form of vegetation passively in-taking water. And its manipulated and woven a bit differently from water as its water attached to something, so moving the water with that its attached to gives you two things to move simultaneously.

Healing:
Waterbenders in particular possess the ability to heal wounds and relieve sickness by redirecting chi paths throughout the body, using water as a catalyst. Physically, this draws on the restorative properties of water to organisms such as human beings that are primarily composed of it. Though powerful, Waterbending healing cannot heal every ailment unfortunately.

Bloodbending:
The highest skill levels of Waterbending include the most powerful technique among all four Bending Arts, Bloodbending. The technique is only possible under the power of the full moon, when a Waterbender's power is at his or her peak. At close range, an expert Waterbender literally uses an opponent's body against him or her by harnessing the ample amount of water within the human body to control his or her opponent like a puppet.

Secondary Waterbending:
This is the loophole in thinking the waterbender has no water left to bend. A thinking master of the style has found several loopholes in being entrapped such as in a fire nation prison in humid atmosphere where the air was dry and free of cool air providing water as a secondary source. A waterbender can make their own water, this can be from their own sweat, spit, and even their own urine so long as it's a liquid with characteristics of water, it can be bent.

Metalbending:
Potentially the ultimate technique of the earth, through which the user is enabled the ability to manipulate the particles of earth that lie within metals. As instructed by Toph, the very first metal bender, her keen eye to see and feel the earth was then endowed in Orizon through servere meditation and spirtual connection to the planet. Thus he was able to achieve the level of detection she had, thus enabling him to mold and shape metal with the extensive properties of earth that lied within it.

--continued (sorry for the double post, this is my bio)

Birth comes first for everyone at sometime, the parents Esther ("Es"-"ter") and Corald were nonetheless joyous of with the celebration of their son. Having one parent a water bender and the other an earthbender would ultimately reflect on his growth. The name that came to mind under the approaching night of the ending day which he was born reflected upon the horizon in which the sun set. The removal of the H brought him his name, nothing too special, yet it was uncommon usually meaning it would give insight to the child as well. Orizon only in the world for but a few moments had his marked origins of a waterbender to be.

This time was short lived as the boy was beginning to grow and attend schools in the northern water tribe. It was there the discipline and harmony of his people seemed to come into play learning much about their culture and history of waterbending. Orizon at this time was a bit bashful and couldn't connect immediately at first. With time, that seemed to melt away as their classes filled his mind with the needed knowledge of their tribe. He met many people, and soon learned of the traditions of their tribe. The necklaces that fourteen year old girls wore with the ocean god, a symbol of betrothal? It was interesting, marriages were arranged for time deemed fit to bare offspring, however tradition did change somewhat after the former princess's death. It somewhat excited Orizon even being so young.

For the next series of years, Orizon seemed to dive into his training. Studying under the northern water tribe's most studious and knowledgeable of past instructors. The basic concepts he covered from mistbending and icebending and thermokinetics were already mastered. His teacher knew of the more powerful art of bloodbending, only under the power of the full moon, meaning it was a once a month technique and only 12 times in a year it can be observed meaning Orizon would waste his life if he didn't get on at least the first two goes with an ample amount of 24 hours to mimic the motions and feel the flow of the ample water within the trapped recipients body. To his dismay, it ended up taking up four months to actually be able to fully use the skill. Nonetheless, it was done and that part of his life had ended and worked to his advantage.

In later years it would come time for Orizon to become betrothed to a woman whom he fawned for through much of his life. Shume given by her first name and a beauty at that. One whom he'd made a pact with if he were to return to the north after fulfilling his wishes to see the world outside the walls of the northern water tribe. Not long after, he parted from the walls and started his path taking all the needed preparations along with him as he went in search of exploring neighboring nations. Destination as of now is unknown, but his travels have ensued for eleven months to a years time.

It was later in time that he discovered and spent arduous years in search of a earth-bending master. The one and most powerfully potent earth bending legend. Toph. In her were the many aspects of earthbending ascended upon him, the make up of earth he felt with his hands, feet, body, and heard it all with his entire form as a medium. He'd excelled so rapidly it was unreal.

I'll guess i'll start this off///

Gene would walk through the destroyed remains of midtown Manhattan, collapsed builds surroundings him on all sides. As he crossed a junction on what used to be fifth street a large skyscraper blocked his path. Walking to its side he saw an entrance and entered the tattered remains, he walked carefully though the building hoping he wouldn't fall through any holes. He would make it through the other side okay, he turned around a corner to find a newly formed river between him and his destination, The new York public library. As he viewed it from a distance it was mostly intact, some holes in the buildings structure but overall it was a marvel for this day and age. However even after finding what he was looking for he still wasn't satisfied he felt that something was wrong... was it an opponent of some kind?

He stood there for a moment looking at the surroundings to see if could spot anyone. He saw no one, not a soul, some what satisfied of his findings he looked for a way to cross the river with out getting himself soaked.

Fallen Grace. The best terms to befit a once very much prosperous scene now nothing but the debris reminiscent of civilization committing suicide. What exactly happened here was the question? It was of little consequence to the current traveler that had suddenly found himself stumbling upon this marvel of concrete and steel.

Even so, his steps continued and carried him even farther. The sounds of the asphalt eroding the traction of his two soles, he sighed. Looking up he came to an stream, running water. No, it was much larger than a stream, a mighty river at that. From here he stood on the opposite side meeting it at it's very side. Crouched down, he let his hand rest through the cool rushing current. Only to look up and notice someone else on the opposite side.

'Hmm?' he thought. He stood up and then waved his hand at the fellow alien on the other side. "I take it your attempting to cross the river?" words of encouragement laced with slight deceit. He waved his hands in a fluid and loose motion shooting a chi-based raw to pull the water together. Solid, ice-cold, a jagged but straight enough bridge.

Gene was surprised that he didn't notice this stranger before, he was startled even more when he froze over the water to create a bridge. He really didn't meet any benders that had such powers, something like this was interesting at the least. Walking across the bridge he was surprised by how even though it was completely smooth there was a great amount of traction. reaching the other side he jumped down landing with a thud on the broken concrete

He turned to the stranger " Thanks stranger, your clothes? their odd even for this time period, where ya from?" He asked being polite to this stranger. Though Gene was still a bit weary of him, wondering if he could be trusted. He readied a charge in his hands , the hairs on his arms if they weren't under his bracer's would be standing straight up. His eyes would go up and down the stranger sizing him up," Hell if he has really strong water powers i'm screwed next to this river" he thought worried about how this might end. As he waited for the strangers reply he placed himself closer to land then the water, just in case an exit was need. He also spied several craps of metal nearby, smirking a little to know that he has a good offensive ready to go.

"It tells a great deal about my background, history even. I crossed the ocean on a small boat and recently ended up here." so he explained. "It's kind of odd that you'd just be walking around in the middle of nowhere like this yourself."

Having said that he was already at immediate if not instant sense of security. Pulling his hand back and leaving to rest at his side. The hybrid bender relaxed his chi, then exhaled. Shrugging into a yawn where his hand cupped his mouth he hadn't realized how bored he'd been.

For the sport of it, his eyes where shut, he cupped his palms to form the inverted form of the mantis. Cutting his eye at the stranger from his left, he quickly spun within an instant guaging his reaction time to physical strike. Coming literally from his right-side, the side of his backhand flung like a tiger's paw. Ranging for his kidney on the alleged side.

The strangers attack was quick and fierce, he had aimed for his lower abdomen. Gene would block using his lower left for arm to deflect the attack using his right arm under it to brace the arm and keep it steady. He had hoped the charge in his hands would have pasted through him and stun the stranger a bit, stunning him.

"Push" the technique as he called it force the metal in his soles to push away in the opposite direction giving him around 20 feet away from the stranger and the water. He used "Pull" to bring the metal scraps toward him. As they rose from the ground Gene saw that they were half pieces of steel support beams and he had managed to pull 8 of them out the ground. He touched each off them giving them a decent charge and sent them on their way toward the stranger"Push".

"By the way names Gene, its curtsy to tell your name when you meet some one new" he said in a harsh voice. Readying himself in a fighting stance ready for a full out fight.

Always acting quickly and off pure instinct and first nature, the unnamed man was obstructed. His kidney shot blocked, withheld and mild and hostile affliction was felt for a brief instant. It was a shock, that rather proposed an even faster reaction as opposed to the desired result. He attempted a swift sweep of the leg primarily before departing, yet just outside the speed of the other man.

Yet his hand was still wet? He jumped back flipping unto the water, standing on it as his foe had then come to a stop. He kept his left hand submerged as the hostile was formulating his next, all the way eliminating the foreign chi with the use of healing through the water. The process was so fast it took him about ten seconds. Considering his observation, the other guy was taking his time to touch these flying scraps of steel and siphons off a charge.

On his mark, all eight were sent his way. Judging by the launching speed, he could smash each with something simple, from the water ten tendrils were guided. However the mastery was a bit more complex, the resolved into hands with ease, all ten were flung. Balled into fist, they were then hardened, at least the very beginning, then smashing with all eight. Instantly freezing over from there.

"Gene was it?" the man ran up the water, like a slide he rode the current to the icy tip, forcing a collapse with two remaining behind him. Upon touching the ground, then swam his way then, to his left first, and the right closely behind. The left then disbanding into a shroud of mist as the second kept its course. "Just call me Cal."

Gene watched as the stranger had backed away onto the water, gathering up water and forming tendrils to smash the steel beams. "Gene was it?"he asked momentarily before the two remain tendrils rushed at him in a quick manner the first one turning into a mist to hid the path of the second. "Just call me Cal."

"Push"He would be propelled in the air above the mist and and tendril with only seconds to spare,as he fell back down he changed the way his front was facing so that his face was looking directly at the ground. "Pull" At the odd horizontal he flew into a building, landing softly, by alternating his "Pull" from a heavy one to a lighter one he stood a fixed to the side of the building."though if he can do that with the water, then that mist will also be a danger.

"Pull" six pieces of metal flew out of the building and hovered next to him, he crushed his fist and at the same time the pieces of metal compacted into small balls. He created six trails that sent three into the cloud of mist and three at Cal. He quickly charged them with a field so that they would generate heat hopefully enough to vaporize the mist and that tendril.

The First three were sent off the trajectory sent them straight into the mist and then at a curved angle toward Cal, the speed would be decreased a bit because of the turn but neither less deadly in its own right. Two would be sent in a similar manner toward Cal, one angled toward the right another toward the left. And the final sent directly at him, and since there were no turns with this one so in essence it was a straight up rail gun, though minus some speed since gene wanted to save energy. "Might i ask, Whats Cal short for?"

Always backing up, he didn't understand it. With the mist covering him, from it he took the liberty of coating a shell of himself completely translucent and reflective. Leaving a shell of water in his spot. Able to be spotted because it looked like Mass from the view of his foe. As he spread the mist, he moved in the cover along the ground of the broken concrete.

The balls, that generated heat didn't do him any good. The mist by itself constituted fairly close to steam which had the same if not a higher state of opacity, to distort his overall transparency within the cover he provided for himself. SMASH! Was all you heard, the balls bouncing off each other, becoming inert like the beams from before.

He'd asked for his name, as he moved like an ninja through the rapidly spreading mist. From the distance of his voice, he was elevated, talking down to him. So Cal replied, "It's short for Calintz, my first name." He stood facing a building, and placed his hands against the wall. It was close, but not knowing what part of this very building Gene was on, he had no other choice. He scaled it from the outside diving his hands into the steel and began to climb it from the outside, quiet, and undetected.

"It's short for Calintz, my first name." From the response that meant that he lived and second, from his voice he was alright. what was even worse he sounded he was in the mist and it was ascending. He wanted to stay away from that mist as much as possible but he couldn't if he wanted to win. He would need to get close, real close. He raised the support beams of the building up into the side. He would use "Push" on both the top and the bottom of the beams to create a gust of wind from the sudden compacting of the steel.

This gust would momentarily blow the mist away, enough for Cal to become separated from it. He would rush in using "Push". As he fell he destabilized the building even more bringing it down on the two of them. As he neared Cal he said" Calintz, thats an interesting name, never heard another like it" he complemented before he swung his foot sideways using "Pull" to direct the kick toward his head while launching metal shards that fell with him at his mid-section."Hopefully i have enough time to use "Push" to evade the rocks" he though.

Calintz clung to the building, as there was a rapid suffixing of foundation overall. With this, they were greeted with a brief gust effectively tarnishing his cover. Once more he looked up, and this time he could see Gene amidst a free-fall all his own. 'Gotcha'.

As the building was crumbling with them both, Calintz decided it time to release his secondary talent. A beam of brick, and deposits of rock on which he stood jutted out with him still clinging to it. Spikes flung out to the spot where Calintz's head would've been, meaning Gene just smacked his foot into concrete full force. "Oooo, that's gotta smart." The metal shards more or less hit the same spot respectively.

He dove his hands into the extended beam, and ripped it in half, the both of them now falling towards the ground. Off the debris, Calintz moved dynamically, and stood on a rock pulling the surrounding debris in massive chunks to hover and mold something of a wide cube-like shape around Gene. He closed his palms, balling his fist to incite the motion to smooth out the edges, of course taking the metal out of the cube using his own ferrokinetics.

"Boxed in Gene, how're you going to get out of this one before the building smashes you? Think fast, times ticking!"

'Gotcha'. The concrete around Cal had changed shape, and worst of all his foot was heading straight toward it, Using "Pull he was able to lessen the blow so it wouldn't destroy his foot, but none the less it hurt, really hurt. As they fell Cal had managed to trap him in a rock cube, while the debris was still heading toward him. "Boxed in Gene, how're you going to get out of this one before the building smashes you? Think fast, times ticking!"

He quickly realized that there wasn't any metal to use in this cube, " Interesting, two powers barely anyone has that. Though Cal i'm sorry to say this isn't the end!"PULL!!" A concentrated mass of scrap metal burst from the ground and hit into the cube piercing it halfway and propelling Gene out of harms way, while he was directly over Cal "Push" He forced the metal to separate to tear the cube apart, allowing for his escape.

He would shape the metal so that they had pointed ends and a length of 10 inches. Using his field he propelled them into Cal's surrounding area. Using pull he landed a distance from Cal and the collapsed building. forming another rail gun he fired two pieces of shrapnel at Cal's body the danger not the metal but the properties he imbibed in them. This particular field he had observed messed with the human brain, someone told him something about the electrical impulses in the brain. Gene wasn't too fond of the science behind it but more of damage it would cause.

He attached a rigid and faint plateau to the slab on which he stood. Taking a much more rigid stance than from before, he reverted to hungar in combination with the reverse mantis. He looked up and caught the rise of a steel beam.

It came in hellishly fast, surprised Gene would near maiming himself to escape. The beam dispersed and the cube crumbled with Gene then falling. Calintz shifted and moved his hands, to fortify the rock and broken road below him and raise it up as Gene began to form yet another railgun of sorts. He finalized his fortress, smacking his hands into the thickened wall he had placed in front of him. As the earth crumbled adamant stood in the dust, formulating any substance of the physical was no problem for even him.

The rounds released, and through a retaliatory push of his own accord, two shards of about the same size, slightly large slammed into the ammunition to cohesively smash and blow the two apart. The smoke set in, and down, diving under the surface was Calintz digging. Following the seismic vibrations of Gene. For what it was worth, the little gopher sprung out from beneath him left fist first, the chin with this uppercut in greatest hopes.

Gene was a bit annoyed when Cal fired his own variation of a rail gun to destroy the projectiles en route. with the wall he constructed blocking his view and destroying most of the metal scraps.

" is it over ? " he wondered not seeing any movement from the wall Cal set up. He felt a rumble below him, he took a step back still looking at the wall until a split second later Cal burst through ground fist first straight for his head. If not for the momentary step back Cal's fist would have collided straight with his chin but instead it collided with the side of his jaw rattling him a bit but not to bad. He staggered back to regain his composure and in an instant readied himself to attack.

" MY turn!!" he said with a smirk, He would use "Push" channeling both that and a strong current through his arms down into his bracer's and into his palms for a deadly attack. Bringing his arms round he struck at Cal into the chest, the collision itself would be amplified by the "Push" and even if contact was not absolutely made the current has a chance to jump into him if he doesn't dodge properly.

'I missed him?' Calintz thought coming out of the hole, at least at the speed of a friggin diglet, the rpm of that notion couldn't be topped. His body already pumped and his reactions being pushed, that which excelled with his heart rate all the same. Eyes then widened as he shouted and proclaimed an announcement of what he no doubt write off as astounding blow.

The metal bracers on both hands are what he noticed for one. The charge time was one thing, when he came at him, without questioning this, he stomped the ground. A thin line of earth forming a pillar out of the hole Calintz jumped out of. It was the same size of Calintz's proportions to absorb the front of his attack. His fist appeared on the other side greeted with with a good jist of the air brushing past Calintz turning to the side as the force flowed out.

"Haha, what was that!?" Calintz slid his foot, wrapping Gene's feet with a stiff layer of adamant, rooting him to the surface. He then took a step with his right foot, turning towards the pillar's side, completely turning bringing around his left fist. The sediment he formed around his left fist was also adamant 'brass knuckles' side swiping Gene's left cheek head on. The spin was fast enough, and in proportion with using about 40% of his body weight into the very same blow, it'd effectively knock the wind out of him.

" Oh crap" he muttered as the stone pillar rose to protect Cal, effectively neutralizing the blast itself. Even worse Cal had trapped his feet momentarily with stone." This is becoming more and more like a simple brawl" he noted as a saw Cal's fist come round the bend with a stone layer. He brought his hand up to block the attack, molding his bracer's around his hand and complete forearm effectively keeping him from breaking his hand. As the punch connected he used "Push" to push his arm away as he ducked down.

Cal would know the reason soon enough, two steel beams coming at him from Gene's side sideways making the only escapes up or down. As the beams crashed into the stone pillar Gene quickly used "Push" to force himself into the air, if it wasn't the fact that the "Push" was being generated in his shoe's he would have lost them in the ground. As he began to fall back he looked at the ground to see if his attack had any effect," damn, my arm frigging hurts."
