Name: Orizon
Other Names: Cal, Rio
Title: Quake
Age: 27
Race: Human/Chi-Conduit
Homeworld: Aiden(A parallel Mother Planet)
Appearance:
Like most water benders, the spanish term for it would be "moreno" meaning dark hair and dark skin. Essentially, Orizon's face has a strong disposition about it and two blue eyes reflecting that of his parents via inherited genes. His body a fairly adequate and slender build in lower and upper body. Covering his person would be the common attire worn by that of either the southern or northern water tribe. A long sleeved thermal blue shirt, with armored padding braced over the left and right arms and hands. Over this a blue vest with a dark blue edge coated to drop down to the waist and and fastened around the hip a white belt binding it together. Below this he wears dark blue pants loosely layered on the inside, yet tied down for when it comes to walking in snow. Over this is a short overlay for martial artist reflecting their respect for Tai Chi Chaun. A dark blue outline sheaths trail around the edges. Lastly two types of shoes often worn, the casual slippers for warmer climate, and boots for colder climate in combination with a hefty jacket made from a otterbear fur.
Personality:
Orizon has a versatile personality underneath the appearance of a waterbender. This doesn't exclude the mistakes he makes given what an ordeal each day brings, his attitude is often lenient to put it in the bold terms. This however doesn't appeal when coming under stressful situations that arise at unexpected points in time where he tends to be just a little more brash and forceful. The fluidity of his speech is diverse and he shows his edge of kindness and morality over just about everything.
Status:
Traveler
Affinity: Hydro//Terra
Techniques:
Yang Style; Tai Chi Chuan
This is the noticeable style of a water bender with use of the power guided by the teachings of old. The body is loosened of stress and flows with gentle curvature for flexibility and peaking movement. The versatile motions bring with it the experience needed for many tougher battles. The strength of water bending lies not in it's ability to attack, but the extensive reach to through which it spreads for defense. In combination with this martial art the proportions of waterbending are set in stone reaching from the water whip, tsunamis, geysers, and the octopus form.
-Hungar ~ Animalistic Motion
~The Hungar is essentially a powerful series of strong stances and rooting to the ground below. This style of martial arts in the avatar world is said to of been first created by the badger moles. Corrective posture in its own aspects contribute to the power behind the respective movements. Following motions are vigorous stop, firm frontal assaults with exact mark stopping as momentum in released from each blow but clearly in place. Weight is centered and controlled putting more direction to the fist and feet. Practitioners are firm, calm, and controlling and never flinch by any means of intimidation as comes with the set inertia of "a rock". Hungar has powerful high kicks often aimed in between upper body and the face, which take the breath of an opponent with enough power slammed all at once. Its referred to animalistic motion given their genuine sense of communication with the ground itself, for hard power style it's given reference to the tiger, also in relation to the crane for soft power. It offers a certain brand of tuned awareness leaning for the sixth sense not dependent upon peripheral sight. Channeling chi into the ground, Hungarth Practictioners such as Orizon can feel the movement of enemies coming towards him, and use the chi within the ground to move the earth below raising slabs of rock with his chi for the offense. Earth of course is not just limited to rocks, dirt, and dust. Hungar practitioners have in rare cases been able to grip tightly and manipulate metal which is a composite form of earth and meld it as if it were a pebble, as following muddy water and soft sand given the deposits of dirt within.
Reverse Mantis ~ Seismically sensitive motion
~Reverse Mantis is a more adept style of rigid kung-fu in which the user initially folds their palms in the opposite way of a praying mantis. It falls heavily upon the power and rigidness of quick motions, noted from the side to side hops that a mantis does itself. The palm positions are for upward thrusting, and with the guidance of earth, that force releases earth from the ground much faster without the lag of 'stomping' primarily. The next portion of the style limbos between the feeling of seismic vibrations, giving away the location of an enemy, especially with those that cannot be seen in the immediate range. Retaliation is then based on the movement below or around said enemy.
Thermokinesis:
For the average waterbender that utilizes the powers handled and granted to the fullest extent, the three forms of water are used on every level. A waterbender naturally has a feel for each and converts water into a liquid, solid, or gas, even the in betweens such as snow, sleet, or flurries. It comes with an innate sense of temperature control and by will once perfected and be moved through the stages, yet often remaining in liquid as the most used state.
Mistbending & Icebending:
Two more that branch off from thermokinesis. Mist bending is the conversion of water by evaporating it and it levies in the air by supportive bending condensing in the atmosphere. On this event, a layer of mist, fog, or steam is created which mask location. Depending on the connection level of chi between a waterbender and his/her water, they can sense when something moves through it as though it were an abrasive extension to his or her arms. Now for the sister conversion of water into it's solid form of ice, it leaves to the distinguished water bending mostly by gasps of cold air and blowing over water causing it to freeze. The dynamics of icebending allow waterbenders to instantly change the water and create objects as large as glaciers. The possibilites seem to go on to even snow shoving.
Mudbending:
The only closest form of waterbending extremely in sync with earthbending. Mud contains water, and with ample amounts of it, a waterbender of high level can easily manipulate it and make it work for their advantage. Shaping of the mud into anything other than it's liquid form steps into the sturdy ridges of earth bending which makes things much more complicated meaning it can only be done in the form of a simple mud river, but still useful nonetheless. With the earthbending background as well this is exercised to it's fullest potential.
Sandbending:
In travels through the desert this was achieved by a tribe of bandits. Able to reshape the earth into its mose base form of the element and scatter it. Thus the creation of sand comes into effect, and to the extremities sand can be used, its likely to power wind sails across sand by dancing with the wind even though it lacks a general air-bender's touch. The other outlets stretch to push for sandstorms, sinkholes, and various formats of just sand itself.
Plantbending:
This shows there is yet another thing that can be manipulated with the supreme control of a master water bender. Able to take and bend the water within the vines of plantlife, from a tree's roots, numerous vines, and overall a sway of some form of vegetation passively in-taking water. And its manipulated and woven a bit differently from water as its water attached to something, so moving the water with that its attached to gives you two things to move simultaneously.
Healing:
Waterbenders in particular possess the ability to heal wounds and relieve sickness by redirecting chi paths throughout the body, using water as a catalyst. Physically, this draws on the restorative properties of water to organisms such as human beings that are primarily composed of it. Though powerful, Waterbending healing cannot heal every ailment unfortunately.
Bloodbending:
The highest skill levels of Waterbending include the most powerful technique among all four Bending Arts, Bloodbending. The technique is only possible under the power of the full moon, when a Waterbender's power is at his or her peak. At close range, an expert Waterbender literally uses an opponent's body against him or her by harnessing the ample amount of water within the human body to control his or her opponent like a puppet.
Secondary Waterbending:
This is the loophole in thinking the waterbender has no water left to bend. A thinking master of the style has found several loopholes in being entrapped such as in a fire nation prison in humid atmosphere where the air was dry and free of cool air providing water as a secondary source. A waterbender can make their own water, this can be from their own sweat, spit, and even their own urine so long as it's a liquid with characteristics of water, it can be bent.
Metalbending:
Potentially the ultimate technique of the earth, through which the user is enabled the ability to manipulate the particles of earth that lie within metals. As instructed by Toph, the very first metal bender, her keen eye to see and feel the earth was then endowed in Orizon through servere meditation and spirtual connection to the planet. Thus he was able to achieve the level of detection she had, thus enabling him to mold and shape metal with the extensive properties of earth that lied within it.
