To the people who thought the game was too easy...

Why are you complaining? You have to think, the game is majorly disney. So, what is the main demographic for disney? Kids. So, if your 16 or 17 playing this game, yeah, its going to be easy. Kids, especially little kids, don't enjoy difficult and challenging games as teenagers and adults may. Plus, i bet the majority of you complaining about the difficulty are playing in beginner or normal, and not proud (which I, personally, haven't played, but have heard some challenging things about).

the game has difficulty settings for a reason.... but on normal the bosses( so far im at tron) are kinda easy.... dont get me wrong im not complaining but.... i can see why people are complaining

well, some parts were easy, a lot of the bosses towards the end took me 5-10 or more tries until i finally beat them though, which is very annoying. what i hate the most is when the boss is almost dead, and then he kills you. that sucks.

I am complaining that i waited for this game for 3 years and though it may be disney, i doubt many children would play it because a) they wouldnt understand it b) they would miss all the twists in the game, and c) it is rated E-10 so the audiance is a little older then u give credit for. But i do see ur point with the disney thing, somewhat anywayz. And the next kingdom hearts (which hopefully there will be) i will play proud or expert or w/e it is called. But i think Kingdom Hearts 1 was more challanging then this one, but we were younger so who knows. ;]

you've got to keep in mind that the only people who complain are the people obsessed enough to talk to eachother on kh2 specific forums and write up reviews on game sites. i think the more obsessed people are more well-orientated with games and have more practice, so they'll naturally find kh2 easy. kh2 was meant for all audiences, so SE had to level it down a little

i started on proud mode first. i was expecting proud mode to be harder. turns out it was a bit too easy, most enemies u press "x" a few times and there dead. though there was a few bosses that took me a while but mostly i ended up beating on the 2nd try and on rare cases on the 3rd. i never fought a boss more than 3 times and that was on rare cases. towards the ending around lv 40ish u were able to defeat most enemies and bosses within a couple hits. i am already at the final world and the most ive spent on a boss here was like 5 minutes. i found expert mode on the first game harder.

Well... I think the game is very challenging. It is a whole lot tougher than KH1 because I've never died in regular battles against heartless before. I'm in standard mode on top of that, and I have been a victim of the one-hit I'm dead thing.

In the first Kingdom Hearts I started at the Dead of Night on Expert mode and I still thought the game was kinda easy, but still required strategy. In Kingdom Hearts 2 if I make on mistake I'm victim of a 10-hit combo or something like that, and it brings my health from near 90 closer to 20. I don't know if my defense is horrible or what, because I'm constantly waiting for my MP bar to recharge to cast cure again. Don't know if anyone else is like that at all...or I just suck at this game.

I've probably died around 10 times and I'm in "The World that Never Was"

Expert mode in the first game was cinch for me. I only died against the secret bosses.

its a well known fact that disney hel square back, still a decent challenge though, it wasnt that hard for me, but i was on standard, so i expected it to be not that hard

I let my 7 year old nephew play this game. He's ok, but has trouble with bosses, which indicates that this game is at the right difficulty for 10 year olds.

kh2 is basically fine.. even in kh1 you can choose to not use magic and summons and just cut your way through the game using only the x button. the same goes for kh2. kh2 is obviously a bit easier, but you can also choose to not use magics, summons, and reaction commands and only end up using the x button. people are being a little too critical. i know people have been waiting a lot and the hype's great, but seriously, i think people are being really heavy on this game.

You're right about it being designed for smaller childern, but that's why a Hard mode is put, that's why it is rated EVERYONE above 10. The Proud mode was supposed to be difficult, I've beat it multiple time already, it is so easy.

people in kh1 complained about the game being too hard, about getting lost, about having to backtrack. Nomura made the game a tad easier, so people could enjoy it more. so make up your minds, if it's too hard, nomura makes it easier, if it's too easy, you guys want it harder
