This idea popped into my head after looking at my UMDs. All of them have PSP Updates, do any of you think that BBS will bring a update along with it? Or it'll prolly be 6.31, right?

it will probably be the most resent update... not really sure what it is nowadays. been on 5.00m33 forever now and on my other psp not really sure what it on but that one is up to date
I don't think so. The Japanese version only needed 6.20, that came with the UMD.

Not all UMDs carry updates. Generally only games that require an update that release around the same time or slightly before. Does it really matter wether BBS has one?
Actually, ALL UMDs come with a firmware update so you can play the game. As far as someone who already has the game (Yes, I know someone) told me, it comes with a 6.31 OFW update.

Oh, I should probably update my PSP then so I won't have to wait through that and the data install.
Well, since the UMD comes with the firmware, I won't have to worry. Dorm wireless is sh!t so I would be waiting longer to install the firmware from school than I would be directly off of the UMD.
How do you find out what firmware your PSP has? I'm pretty sure mine is the highest...but does anyone know which one is at the moment?
It might have a more recent update to futher increase security and combat piracy. And I also think they might make it to the game not playing unless you update to that one.
I'm sure it'll have the 6.20 instead on the most recent, but if it does come with an update higher than 6.31, we'll all need it.

Well, considering the last firmware update was on my birthday (July 29th) so I don't think a new one will come out for a few months or so.
My psp currently has 6.30, and I'm currently updating it to the next one.. cuz I tried going to the pen store and it said I needed an update.
