--------------------------------------

If he could take back all those things he had done, he would of. If he had the ring, the munny, he’d go out and get her the dinner and ring.

He’d take back the pain, the things he said that night. Time passed, there’s no point in turning back the hands when destiny was already written on stone.

Walking, he paced through the empty streets of the town, the winding under his nose, the moonlight beaming down on his spikes. A half smile was growing from the back of his lips, slowly those lips curved. He’d smile with his whole heart if he had a heart.

On the empty streets all you could see were the lights the street light poles were shining, it was a empty and a sorrow-filled night, a night that was so empty, it was emptier than a wallet with no munny in it, it was damn right more emptier than a shell more emptier than the moon.

Lifting up his head, focusing his eyes on the stars, a shooting star was falling. A shooting star, was it the same star that fell first that night eight years ago? If it is, then…

Quickly he dashed towards the beach, looking around the pier. He ran around the island for hours and yet no sign of her. He looked out towards the sea to see a meteor shower, a beautiful shower of fallen stars; it was so beautiful even if it meant he had to leave home once again.

His ears twitched when he heard a soft giggle, a gentle smile pressing on his body. Turning around, he widen his eyes but as they widen, he realized that all he heard, what he felt was just the wind, his mind playing tricks on him. He had enough of this, no more.

Sora…

His name, he loved it when it came rolling off of her royal tongue. Her red hair flowing, playing, dancing slowly with the wind as she stood in front of him, beside him, away from him, beside him, he loved the way it was. He loved the way she was.

The honesty she shared with him, her secrets, and her life. She was ready to share her life together with him for as long as she lived, she was ready to cherish him every day of her life but wasn’t he ready for her?

Turning his back on the wind and walking towards the sea water, he felt the salty liquid touch his ankles. He sat down, untying his shoelaces one by one. Once they were untied, he thrown his shoes, casting them aside, letting his feet free to feel freedom, some tranquility.

Sora stayed there for hours maybe five or six, either way it was getting late. He didn’t want to leave but he had to get ready to wear a color he said he’d never wear again in his life; black.

Before leaving the beach, he saw something in the water, quickly running into the water, not caring if his clothes got wet or if he would grow ill from it, he jumped, dived in to the water, swimming his way down to get whatever that object was.

Sora swam his way up, rushing like if he was about to die without air. He let out a long gasp for air, inhaling and exhaling in a much hastened speed but it soon slowed down when he looked at what was in his hand.

It's my lucky charm, be sure to bring it back to me.

He remembered what she said and what he did to the charm; he threw it into the ocean yesterday night, hoping he’d forget her. Sora sighed, he felt something hot and watery coming down his face, it wasn’t what he thought it was, was it?

Tears.

“I promise.” He swam back to shore, ready to walk down the church the next day to return to her what he had took away from her years ago this charm and her heart.
