That's really awesome. I'm sure Shimomura knew, though, it's nearly impossible to have it sound the same backwards and forwards without intentionally doing so. Nomura probably told him to, or something.

well theres only one problem with the reverse version of the song. the reversed version of the battle theme is not the actual official version of the theme found in the game, its actually the reversal of the rendition of the theme made by Blue Nctrn:

although they are similar, they are a little different.
