You're so right, it's all symbolism. The logo covering Terra is also symbolism. Though just so I'm clear since every Kingdom Hearts cover has symbolism what the symbolism on the first two games?

All of Nomuras work has some form of it.

Like int he first one notice how there heartless under them and the second one how Sora and kairi are back to back and how they sit on a heart.

That's not symbolism, that's just the coverart. It doesn't symbolize anything; that's like saying King Mickey having his Keyblade in his hand is symbolism. Also Terra's keyblade doesn't have a keychain hook, the keychain just kind of hangs of the end of that circle thing on the end, which is een on the Boxart.

Yep. If they drew the keychain any other way, I think it would look weird or be hard to draw. Laziness at its core.
