Well, the Ys series has always focused more on gameplay that narrative.

Kingdom hearts. when I beat the game it was before kh2 was annoced so I was left with a cliff hanger and secreet video that made no sense

Yet it was still better than the ending to FMA 2: Crimson Elixir.

Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana....crappy ending. It asked more questions than it answered. And I can't find out how to work the stupid New Data Plus dungeon deal-ee-oh. But the ending still sucked, especially after such a good game.

I hated FF7's ending. And that's about it, all the games I have played and beaten so far had good endings.

FFX-2, Resident Evil Dead Aim (the whole game sucked) and Prince of Persia Two thrones ending was kinda...."USED", but not the worst.
