4. Hours. Of. BSODs.
After the final hour, I got to run a system repair. It finally started kind uve' well, although my custom theme went back to the default gray basic one. I went and updated my video driver, uninstalled/deleted mostly everything I don't use, did a disk cleanup. So far it's being stable for now.
Is it possible that the theme I used caused windows to be unstable and crash? Also any other precautions I should take for future disasters?
EDIT: Specs I think the only difference is that the graphics card is a Nvidia 210.

My theme for Windows 7 does tend to make itself crash for whatever reason, so disabling it might help prevent any graphical errors coming at difficult times that will result in a computer crash.
Do you frequently dust the inside of your tower with a can of compressed air? Keep your system as cool as possible. Run your anti-malware and spyware programs frequently to make certain your system isn't infected and forcing shutdowns to protect itself. For this to happen for four hours, and yet not at all previously, you must have either opened up something infected or in a worst-case scenario a component in your computer is failing.
I'd suggest remembering everything you had done prior, whether it was a program you had downloaded or whatever, reboot your computer in safe mode, and run a full scan of your computer to make absolutely sure it isn't an issue with an infected system, then if it isn't you can narrow it down to your hardware itself.
So if it happens again:
-Remember what you had done prior to it all happening to help diagnose it as a software issue or a hardware issue
-Reboot in safe mode
-Run all anti-infection programs you have installed
-Open up your tower and make sure its as dust free as possible. If you don't have a compressed air can, power down your system entirely and lightly dag at the dustiest of components you can reach with a dry handcloth, but be sure to make sure its unplugged from the power source. ONLY DO IT IF DESPERATE, I'd still recommend the air over some cloth.
Attempt some of this, if the problem reoccurs you can PROBABLY assume its a new issue with your hardware and may need to get it looked at by a professional, but if it doesn't then you should be golden. Run those infection programs every so often to keep your system healthy, and when you get a can of air regularly clean out the inside of your system to help keep it cool.

It actually has happened prior, but not as frequent as this. I also just recently cleaned up the inside of the tower not to long ago, but I'll clean it with some compressed air. My best bet it was either soon to be failing hardware or the windows 7 theme. I'll take your advice thanks Promise!
Regardless, I would recommend a safe mode reboot and running all anti-infection programs JUST to be on the safe side, even if BSOD is mostly tied to hardware failure. Good luck, and let us know if it persists and what options you may be considering.

So I have this PS4 and I can't seem to get the controllers to charge.They are plugged in but the blinking yellow light doesn't sow up to confirm its charging.I've tried standby mode,off mode (XD),and on mode(?).Though it still doesn't seem to work.I looked up guides from PlayStation but it doesn't help very much.Anyone one know how to help?I thik I may be doing something wrong.
Have you tried different cords? Walgreens sells micro usb duo cords for like $8 dollars [OBVIOUS PLUG FOR MY WORK GUYS] that charge my controllers fine.

Ok so the problem is that Findright found it's way on my laptop. I tried uninstalling it from the Control Panel and it isn't listed anymore but I'm still seeing the effects like images not loading properly. Avast can't find anything either. I heard Findright is pretty bad, so please help ASAP.
Try using revo uninstaller. It works better than Stock uninstaller imo...
Also check your web browsers as adwares nowadays like to install ad-ons in your browsers.
Now, I am having a new problem since moving into my new place. My computer now has this browser with the green flashing and then says that the internet isn't working. It's so annoying having to click out of the pop-ups saying, "Your internet isn't working". Maybe, I should take it into a computer shop to get fixed and scanned from the viruses. What do you guys think is going on?

2) Green flashing isn't normal for any software out there that I can think of. Bonus points to those who can correct me.
3) Pop-ups, in this context, is a sign of a present virus.
I would diagnose the problem via yourself before going to a shop. At least make an effort to understand what symptoms your computer has, and then seek professional help. Professional help is often needed for reassurance. Sometimes tackling these issues is overbearing for those who are not computer literate or computer-savvy. For professional help, I recommend using Bleeping Computer for *FREE* professional help and assistance.
Other recommendations:
1) Download, install, and run Malwarebyes. It's free, it's safe, and used by computer specialists globally. Just try not to download it at any random third party website, or some website that seems misleading.
Other advice to spare.

So my laptop won't connect to the internet anymore, neither through wi-fi or with a cable. Any tips?
Edit: this may or may not help: The connection was lost late last night after I got a pop up to turn on Windows Defender. The kicker: I don't remember what I clicked.

* Run virus scan... I recommend MSE
* Open your application uninstaller (I Prefer Revo) and uninstall and recent apps that you didn't put there.
* Go to device manager by hitting the windows key and typing device manager. Then go to Network adapters and right click on your Network adaptor and choose uninstall... After than go to action at the top and choose "Scan for hardware changes" restart you computer to see if that works.
* Some how try getting microsoft fixit on your laptop specifically this which is specifically for fixing (resetting firewall) to how it originally was...
* Try recovering your laptop to an earlier date using system restore... (this is kinda last resort)

I have a 64GB USB 3.0 stick. Yesterday I tried (for the first time) to plug it into my tv. Long story short: I didn't actually do anything with it except pull it out again, but ever since my PCs can't locate it anymore. I even tried reformatting it (everything was backed up anyway) but while it seemed okay for about 10 minutes, after that it suddenly went back to square 1 and now it can't be located anymore.
Did you try another PC? Or restarting your PC and trying anew?
