What difficulty will you play on in BBS

Sadly, I seriously suck at video games, though I'm obsessed with them. xD so i'd go beginner. IF i manage to finish, i'd go to Standard.

Is there a 'all' option?

I'll start with beginner to get the feel of the gameplay, then move up to standard (both of those difficulties to also help with strategical moves for bosses on proud and critical.), then proud, and finally critical.

And saintfighter brought up a good point, do we have to beat all three to get the secret ending? Or is there a final story after completing the three scenarios which will have the true/secret ending?

I'll play the Japanese with standard, then when the American comes out, proud for secret ending and not much other reasons. The challenge itself isn't that enjoyable and mostly suckish and, to me, just makes gameplay too hard to be enjoyable. I guess I just suck ;V

you can get secret ending for proud, and its much easier.

since BBS has a new gameplay system, if you play on proud mode for the first time, you wouldn't know how hard it is cuz it's new.. =)

I would like to play the hardest level, so I could obtain the secret ending much easier. Seems like Nomura was having a hard time with the game, and it makes me wonder what difficulty level he was playing. I just don't want to get into the game to find out the game is just too difficult to play in, and then have to start over on an easier difficulty.

My guess is that Standard would require completing a journal and/or going 100% on a game.

nomura did not mention critical mode in the interview. only easy-standard-proud. i dont see why 20 ppl voted for it. anyways i chose standard. it challenges me more to unlock the secret ending and it will wont be too difficult to start off with.

I like challenges so I would start on the hardest lvl. I'll play the esiest once I have finished the game, just to enjoy it.

Probably standard at first like always. Unless the people who import say the system is overkill. Then I might play Proud just for the secret ending in the NA version.

Don't know. Either Standard or Proud mode. I usually end up doing everything before going after the final boss anyway, so the whole secret ending thing doesn't bother me as much.

Whenever I play a KH game, I always start on the easiest mode; I just want to be able to get through it once. Plus, I want to learn the mechanics of the game swiftly and easily, and not having to keep retrying battles with Unversed. Then, when I beat the game, I will probably go back and play Standard and maybe Proud. I'm too lazy to find the secret ending, so I'll just look it up on YouTube.

There's this great line of difference between what most people consider to be "doing everything," and what the journal actually requires.
Like, getting all those insane scores in minigames.
It's pointlessly hard.
