I think it has to do with memory, but not a lot of ideas right now.

I keep thinking of death when I hear about it.
One dies, another is born. X/
It probably has something to do with memories or Unbirths.

I think 'Sleep' is an allusion to death, or the end. As in, when something dies, it's not necessarily the end and there's somethibng that may or will be made as a result of that person dying.

Ie: Sora dies, Roxas is born.
Both Xemnas and Ansem SoD die, Xehanort can be reborn.

Ie: Sora dies, Roxas is born.

That's what I'm thinking.

The end is the beginning. The beginning is the end. I too think that Sleep could mean death. Born from death, as a nobody is born from the release of a heart. Certainly, Unbirths are important to this concept. In what specific way is unclear.

It might mean the birth of a keyblade weilder due to the slumber of another being....idk

I like that idea. It's a little strange to make the title of the game "Birth by Sleep" if the majority of the game focuses on the Terra, Ven, and Aqua and how they "slept" to edit (i replaced that word) Sora, Riku, and Kairi. Nevertheless it could mean that when Terra, Ven, and Aqua die (or sleep so to say) Sora, Riku, and Kairi are put on a cycle of predetermined fate by the previous three, as if Terra, Ven, and Aqua decided that each would gain their abilities. After all Nomura stated that the fate of Sora Riku and Kairi was already decided because of the earlier 3. And if you understood all that I just said...

Is it okay if I just call Terra, Ven, and Aqua TVA?
And Sora, Riku, and Kairi SRK?

TAV, VAT, TVA, ATV, doesn't matter we know who you mean.

Being that SRK are all alive and everything during the events of BBS, I don't think they themselves are directly created or "born" by TAV sleeping.

Errr... sorry to second post, but It's not that SRK are alive or Born, it's that their powers or fates are born from the deaths or "sleeping" of TVA.

something with unbirths and the Room of awakening/sleep?

I think its like when someone falls aleep a new person will appear. Just like when Sora went into the pod and slept for a year; Roxas was the new person that was up and about with the keyblade.

Or in a different point of view ti most likely would have something to do with unbirths.

Birth By sleep could have something to do with Unbirth by effect though. For instance; is birth = sleep then unbirth = no sleep. Simple.

waaaay to simple, you sleep to be born, and you awake to be unborn?
i don't think that makes much sense.

I know that unbirth(not the sexual term) would mean
of an existence of not being born, thus meaning something that
is unborn. In this case it is something that exists without birth
or beginning.

I was stating an example; jus tto say that because the words aren't the same, Birth By Sleep could still have something to do with Unbirths.

maybe it relates to the phoneix it dies only to again reborn
better yet the theory that fire burns(death, ie. sleep) to create something new(birth)

It probably could,
that or it could mean something
that isn't obvious until probably
the end of the game. Or something
you don't find evident because of a
lack of it being obvious until later.

we'll see what happens soon..
