But a good reason for hating her is because she can fight? Why should Sora and Riku be the only one who get to risk there lives for the greater good? What makes Kairi so special that she has to automatically be shoved into the support role.her heart is more pure and she has a keyblade is what i'm saying, she can't be tainted by darkness as easily as riku or sora can.
still, i feel kairi should be left as someone who supports sora and riku in a different way. i know people hate kairi for being helpless, but i don't think thats a good reason to hate her.

So you suddenly have a better idea of what to do with Kairi then Nomura does? Being supportive doesn't fit Kairi personality at all.because that's what the characters are.
and yes you can hate a character for fighting (not that they can or not). Kairi, isn't special, and shouldn't be so specuial to be moved up to major playable character. Supportive character is good enough for kairi.
Yes the way she gained a keyblade was half-ass which is mostly the reason why people feel like she doesn't deserve it. But to say she will work better as a supportive character when every case she's has had to been was out of her control.Problem with kairi haters who want kairi to have akeyvblade is that you all hate her for what she is. you all want her to be something she isn't suppose to be.
the way she gained a keyblade of her own was pretty mellow, it wasn't as dramatic as both sora's or riku's first keyblade appearance.
How exactly would see be a clone? Because she's a female who uses the Keyblade?Personally, it's not that I don't want her fighting; I just don't want her fighting with a keyblade. She's a Princess of Heart; expand on what sorts of powers she has as a PoH. White Mage!Kairi sounds promising, gameplay wise, to me. If she's given a keyblade, she's pretty much an Aqua clone. =/
That's my view on it personally.
Kairi is supposed to be a main character, it only makes sense that she get a Keyblade as well. If you have a problem with her having one, have with every other character besides Sora and Riku having one as well, otherwise, you're just being bias against her.
I agree with the notion 3D stands for 3 destines.
A Kairi scenario, perhaps? ;D
Most people here would throw hissy fits if that were true, but personally a Kairi scenario would make me very happy, especially since she's the only member of the original trio who hasn't been playable. =/
Actually, I don't have to have a problem with everyone else having a keyblade. =/ The problem with Kairi is that she's already been implied to have other powers. And it'd be more interesting and more original to see Nomura expand and flesh out the capablities of a Princess of Heart.
Spoiler ShowI doubt it would be that much different than what Roxas's or Ven's powers were. Both of them fought with light magic, and Ven was even technically the equivalent of a Princess of Heart (he had a heart of pure light after MX extracted his darkness to form Vanitas). So if Kairi were to gain a Keyblade, she could still showcase some PoH powers, having one wouldn't really prevent her from doing that, just ask Ventus.

Also, let's get back on topic of what 3D stands for. =/ This is really getting off topic (and I admit my part in it)
I have a problem with everybody having a Keyblade. There were originally meant to be two, one from the realm of light (Sora's) and one from the Realm of Darkness (Mickeys). But if everybody has to have one and Nomura left Kairi out I'd have to hunt him down and strangle him. I love Kairi and I BEG that you finally get to play as her in this game!
She's actually the only one out of all the trios who hasn't been playable. Several of my friends are screaming for her to be in an upcoming KH game, and I agree with them. If this is the game that has a Kairi scenario, make it so!
Seriously, since there's Twlight Thorn in Traverse Town (MINDfiretruck) in one of the screenshots, one of my friends came up with a theory that someone was traveling through time and messing with the past. If that were true, maybe history in the KH universe would somehow be changed so that Kairi didn't get her heart taken and also got a Keyblade early.
Didn't time travel already happen? o.o That's kinda what Timeless River was, them going back in time to before Mickey became King.
Thats more of a individual/isolated world event. But still using timetravel opens up this whole can of worms that should of stayed closed. Especially with the way Nomura plans things one step at a time.Didn't time travel already happen? o.o That's kinda what Timeless River was, them going back in time to before Mickey became King.
That's different. That's more the disney filler that I never really pay attention to and black out to.
*sit down to play kingdom hearts two*
*black out*
*bam its 2 am and most disney worlds are out of the way*
YES!
I mean like with the main story, not individual world stories.

It was dealing with Maleficent, who is part of the real story.
