Why did Sora run out of the arena where you fight Marluxia, then lock the door like Marluxia was going to get out. He already faded into nothingness , so what was the need for the run and lock?

Evil people always seem to find a way to come back from the dead. So Sora took that way of coming back and locked it.

I can see the specific petty vindictiveness when dealing with Sora and Marluxia though. So it adds up for Sora not knowing about a global threat all around.
They hurt his girl, they get locked up even after he beat them up. :3

I think he sealed it as a protective measure in case Marluxia wasn't really gone.

But then, he still could have gotten out even if he didn't die right?
