I think Marluxia would have had Kingdom hearts so easily and control over the organization, and Sora would have forgotten Kairi =( and became a Puppet >.<

He'd have forgotten Riku, Donald and Goofy, too. Well, maybe not the last too, since they might've been turned into puppets as well, thinking only they had to go with Sora, but he'd have forgotten anyone in general, too.
Not like Kairi truly got special treatment in that aspect until Namine tried averting Sora's attention from her.

If Marluxia defeated Sora and used him as a puppet againist the Organization, the butterfly effects would be so immense that the entire story of the series would change.
