Whats left?

Ok so in about 2 weeks i will have been here for a whole year, but I know have an empty feeling about this place. The next KH game probally won't come out for at least 2-3 years if We're lucky and I question what's left to do. My best friends on here arn't the same anymore and the thrill is gone. I feel like i'm drifting away from the forums here and KH, but part of me wants to stay for the sake of the memories.

So people of KHI forums, what's left for me? What's left for me to hold on to and stay here?

If you enjoy it, stay. If not, leave. It's fairly simple.

Alternately, you could just come around less often, so it's more fun and original when you do. Or you could try posting in a new section, try to learn how to roleplay or something like that.

The people you enjoyed yourself with/people that made you laugh/etc. are all growing up. They aren't going to be sticking around on forums all the time but going out and leading their own lives. It's a natural process. Just because the place feels empty doesn't mean you have to feel sad about it. We're just at a low at the minute; news is slow, less people are on, etc. I'd check back every week or so to see if anything else has happened and you can participate as usual. You can always join other forums. This is a site dedicated to KH & FF, so when there's not much going on on those fronts, activity can be low, as I said, and if you join a popular general gaming forum there'll be loads of people to talk to.

Coming on less often might be a good solution. Even if there's little or no news, there's surely going to be a few places to talk if you get one once a day, every other day, or even once a week. Actually, I'm kind of glad things are a little quiet now, because when there's 400+ people on here, this site usually lags like crazy for me. We need a little respite, after BBS's Japanese release, the news surrounding it, and anything else that happened.

Then again.. 2-3 years? Did you read the interview? Unless you're talking about KH3, it's one game a year. NA BBS should be out sometime this year and the Tokyo Game Show will surely contain an announcement for one or both of the mystery games, maybe even KH3. I think TGS happens around August or September and E3 is in June, though Nomura and Square seems to not grace it all too often or as much. I'm confident some news might leak out before then, but if you still find this place too boring after going to other parts of the forum, come on less often or leave for a few months. Surely, we'll get a fair portion of news by the time of TGS '10 and just after it. Hell, we might even get an early trailer of next year's game or whatever.

The people contemplating on leaving/ leaving because there's no news? If you mean that, then possibly, just like the earlier (this year) trend on new Premiums and Plats announcing that they reached it, the birthdays, the on-site anniversarys (I swear there was a lot of both of these a month or so ago, one after another.), and the return of whole bunch of oldfags (04 - 06 members). I guess that's how this site's trends go, in cycles.

We're getting Birth by Sleep this summer. After that, we've been told that they plan on releasing at least one Kingdom Hearts game a year.

When there wasn`t very much for me to do here I took a break for awhile and came back a few months later. I enjoyed the break, but I missed this place a lot. Just check in every once in awhile if you want a break and you want to keep track of whats happening. Or you could make some more friends and branch out.
