I swear pins for KH have been a sour thing ever since 2.5's original US Limited Edition

I don't think the vitriol was towards the pin itself, just the difference in quality between what fans in Japan were getting (some editions had a Sora figurine, there was a music blu-ray etc.) and what the rest of the world got (Shadow plush, art book, and pin). The pin just got caught up in that frustration.

I think the pins in general seem to have been received fine, and there's been a lot more since 2014.

Yes and it will have a QR code to pre-register, but instead it will take you to a website that will just say “coming soon.”
