Love how I only started seeing people address it as an issue after Heihachi "Survived a Point Blank Explosion" Mishima was announced for 8. As if it'd be any different if he came back in Tekken 9 or smth, he was still IRL "dead" longer than Kazuya

I know nothing of this person’s reputation or if they have any actual inside scoops. But this would make sense regardless for third party devs to be banking on a huge launch window for the Switch successor.
From SE, I could easily see native KH ports and an FFXIII remastered trilogy. I don’t know if it’ll be able to run KH4, but DQXII or FFIX Remake would both be huge for new AAA titles.
I bet porting VIIR series and FFXIV will also be high on the priority list of it can run them.

Pretty much a take/speculation based on common sense. They might as well have said “the switch 2 will have mario games.”
I personally don’t anticipate anything like native KH ports from the get-go but a ported FF7R would be mondo cool. I wanna say XIV too but Nintendo have a sketchy history with having MMORPGs on their systems.

There was supposed to be a Closed Beta test in 2022 but I don't think that ever happened, got delayed to late 2023
We had another Beta this year but it's just been silence since then.
I don't think this game will last more than a year. If they're bad at marketing it, they won't get the Whales to show up and spend tons of money on it.

Can’t wait to see more from Zootopia 2 and Elio this weekend and then have KH fans exclaim how they can’t ever imagine how those worlds would ever work in the game, then ask for the Aristocats.
