When are we expecting news?

It's an interesting possibility and with Nomura talking about KH4 again in that latest interview is interesting. Plus that interview is a week old starting tomorrow if I recall correctly...which is when the State of Play is. Coincidence?

The interview came out last Thursday, the SoP is airing Wednesday JST so it’s just shy of a week

4chan can be hit or miss with info, it's a total crapshoot. AFAIK the only time a poster on that site broke anything KH related was Sora in Smash.

My expectations are non existent lol. KH may or may not show up but I don't think it has anything working for or against it. I'd assume SE would ANNOUNCE KH4's next public appearance so as to bring the hype, but maybe Sony is willing to pay em out the nose to make their state of play suck less.

What I really want is for them to shadow drop some speed run challenge levels for Astro Bot with FF7 characters and Sora as a reward

Well....Silent Hill f could be a VR game.

I think it's possible that the game could have VR support but I doubt it will be strictly VR. According to Konami, this is the next mainline game in the series so I don't think they'd make it a VR only game which would limit its reach to the select few that actually own (or can even afford) a VR headset.

I remember the late 2018 4Chan leak that said Ienzo would rock up to the Keyblade Graveyard in a gummi ship alongside Leon and crew, and then all Disney characters from across the series would fly in behind them and they’d all fight Xehanort.

Obviously it was legit and that forced Nomura to put in and out markers around that part of the game and hit delete.

This would LITERALLY fix KH3 holy freaking science. Omg it would be just like a Marvel movie. Oh my Stark. Literally just shed an epic tear thinking of that

Yeah the concentration of all this stuff releasing between now and October makes me feel like something is coming. I definitely think this stuff would sell better if people were hyped up by KH4 and ML news.

The last batch of merch was when the Steam ports released. Considering the ML wafers, the “Linking Hearts” event, etc., I think that was originally when ML would have started pre-registration/released. Then the Steam ports would have actually dropped around this time. Plans for the release schedule changed, but it was too late at that point to change the merch schedule.

Probably just overthinking it, but it seems like a plausible scenario.

Sure, but Roxas was an actual leak and it was two-fold. KH2 had a line of promotional candy that featured the characters and their names that broke street date and spoiled Roxas's name, and the soundtrack having the name "Roxas" as a track also helped solidify it. It was all-but-confirmed when that post happened.
