I imagine they will. KH3, VII Remake, and Rebirth all had concert tours. So KH4 and Remake Part 3 likely will too. That said, if VIIR-3 is targeting an early 2027 release, KH4 would need to release by like spring 2026 to have enough time for a tour.

While development is obviously the first and foremost driver, that would be yet another good reason for them to target early 2026 as the release window.

I think it is unlikely 2028 is their internal target. Either KH4 or DQ12 need to come out before VIIR-3, if not both. KH4’s been in some degree of development since 2020, so that’d be an 8 year turnaround. KH doesn’t sell like the Witcher, GTA, etc. that can afford that long of a dev cycle.

I see people suggest SE wants the whole VIIR trilogy out before releasing any other major games, but I think audiences need a break from VII being the center of attention. If they take it out of the spotlight for a while and shift focus to other series, it will be more exciting when they start hyping it up again.
