I think given Disney and SE will want KH4 to be a huge success for them, they have and likely will invest in a lot of cross promotional content. Fortnite makes a ton of sense, and I wouldn’t be surprised about active Disney games like Dreamlight Valley, Twisted Wonderland, and Lorcana (lord people don’t do this to us bc I don’t have it in me to not buy these decks and cards in the service of KH) featuring KH. And of course non-Disney stuff beyond Fortnite (don’t ask me what because I don’t play mobile games).

But obviously I think all of this will be in service of being promotion for KH4, positioning it as a key franchise for both companies, which requires maximum Sora-synergy everywhere feasible. This isn’t some unique thought, either. This is just clear, obvious marketing potential after the fervor that was apparent from Smash. And I’m sure plenty of these collabs have been multiple years in the making.

So yeah. Idk why I felt compelled to say any of that. I guess waiting for my doctor’s appointment made me a bit rant-y.

I would get back into Dreamlight Valley if they added KH characters

No official word on KH4 today is crazy. Not even a mention. And given how they put the Steam trailer together, I'm feeling very scared about future KH trailers spoiling everything and basically repeating KH3's downfall

Sorcerer's Arena, Melee Mania, Villainous, Speedstorm. Hell, the guy who was VP of Disney Interactive during Disney Infinity's time workds at Nintendo now, maybe some strings could be pulled for DI complete edition with bonus Sora amiibo support on Switch!

I'll always watch the trailers because I'd get spoiled if I avoided them. Might as well rip off the bandaid.

Sometimes things can be ambiguous in a trailer, like I remember when some people thought Xion with white hair was where Repliku was in San Fransokyo, or that Repliku is Data Riku.

I like the speculation that comes from trailers but they didn't need to show The Final World & Scala Ad Caelum in a trailer. Lots of things from The Keyblade Graveyard section too, Dark Aqua, Ven, Roxas returning, etc.

I don't care if lots of Disney stuff gets spoiled because if it's based off a movie, we know what to expect.

I’m trying to imagine it but SE is so weird about Sora being in FF stuff. We got lucky with Brave Exvius and World of Final Fantasy but they never tried with Dissidia Opera Omnia (and to this day I’m still mad they didn’t have Sora in Dissidia when the god damn concept of Dissidia was originally for a KH battle game!)

I could imagine FFXIV but uh…big doubt on that. I will not elaborate further.
