When are we expecting news?

I've come to peace about a potential lack of KH4 news this summer. As long as ML is guaranteed, I'll be okay. All I need is my KH fill.
According to Midori, Visions of Mana news is on the horizon.
If this is intended to be at SGF, I’m doubtful SE would show KH4 at the same event. But also possible Mana will be at the Xbox Showcase

Any reason why the two can’t co-exist within the same event?
Isn't Mana a smaller title? And even so it's not like KH4 will suddenly make it seem like it doesn't exist.
If this is hinting at Visions showing up at SGF, at the very least that means Square will be there. (EDIT: Just saw that Square is the publisher and not the developer.)

Not really, beyond not wanting to steal the thunder for one over the other. A KH4 re-reveal would completely overshadow a new Mana trailer. Also, I would expect SE to show a Steam + maybe ML trailer alongside a new KH4 trailer if it’s going to happen at SGF. That’s a lot of real estate for Square at one event. But it’s definitely not impossible for both Mana and KH4 to be there, I just have a harder time imagining it.

Why is it suddenly like the damn playground or something now where one thing can't be around cuz oh no this OTHER thing will be ignored?
With this logic fuggin' Call of Duty shouldn't be at SGF cuz it'll overshadow this one random game.
And why do I keep seein' people apply this logic to SQUARE specifically, disregarding any internal company affairs and such, and even KH specifically? Especially around the Rebirth times as if KH4 getting one trailer will suddenly cause everyone and their mother to ignore Final fuckin' Fantasy.

Yeah, it would definitely be in Square's best interest to show something bigger than VoM to get more headlines & attention & hope VoM can piggy back off of that.
Is there anything outside of Square Enix / Kingdom Hearts 4 that people are hoping to see at the SGF show, or during Summer Game Fest itself? Just hoping to break up the one track mind of KH4 hope this week.
For me, it's outright confirmed that the Night Springs DLC for Alan Wake 2 will be shown so I'm excited for that, but I'm also hoping for Lego Horizons to be shown if it's real, and hopefully for some more info on The Plucky Squire. Release dates for Lost Records: Bloom & Rage and Epic Mickey Rebrushed would be fantastic too.

Dragonball Sparking Zero! for me. I'm hoping for a 2024 release.
Kinda based of him to deconfirm it instead of letting thousands of people watch in hopes of seeing kh4
