When Sora saves the tormented will the Kingdom Key still be his?

As we're all clearly aware, the Kingdom Key resembles the handle designs of the X-blade. And as Xehanort stated: his power is a result of his heart being connected to people.

That Sora saves the tormented ones does not automatically mean the connections with them would be severed.

The only thing that will change is that the tormented ones will return to the world (as said by Nomura) and will be able to help Sora.

Sora gains also another advantage out of it as he then has not to carry the burden of their hurt inside him directly anymore.
