Very impressive and congratulations.
After doing a comparison, I'd say that UMASS Amherst looks better simply because they have a divisional College of Engineering, which is the main hub that runs the engineering programs. It doesn't seem Lowell offers the same when it comes to engineering opportunities. Also some reviews preferred Amherst over Lowell, but it is encouraged to at least shadow all of the colleges.
