Who Is Your OTP?

I've all ready replied here, I know, but what can I say: I have too many OTPs to count, so now I'll talk about the one that's taken over my life right now:
Raoul/Christine.
So, about nine years ago (wow, I'm old!) I saw the Phantom of the Opera musical/movie and completely fell in love with everything about it. I became quite obsessed with it, and would literally watch it every day. It was a lot of fun... until I grew totally sick of it, of course.
For that reason, I didn't watch it again for nearly a decade. And probably about a month ago now, my boyfriend and I decided to watch it again for some reason, and... Well, I'm completely obsessed with it again (though I'm thankfully not watching it everyday this time. LOL.), and am now even trying to get into the novel and stuff like that, but anyway: Raoul and Christine.
I just- I just love them so much! They're so adorable and good for each other, in my book. And I... it's just disheartening, really, to see how much hate the ship gets, and especially Raoul himself.
Originally (when I was, like, thirteen), I was more a Phantom/Christine shipper (though upon realizing he'd murdered people, I still thought it best Christine be with Raoul... even if part of me still wished she could be with the Phantom somehow).
But now I've done a complete 180 on the matter, because I'm seeing this all with adult eyes now, and have a new perspective on it because of that. Like, Raoul/Christine is golden in my book--and the kind of relationship anyone should strive for--where as Phantom/Christine...
Oh, boy. Bad, bad, toxic, abusive relationship, that was really only built on lies: and that's just the tip of the iceburg.
I just... I just really can't ship our Opera Ghost with Christine at all anymore. And rather, I can't condone ANY of his actions at all. I sympathize with him, don't get me wrong, but just because he had a bad life it doesn't excuse all that he did.
Tbh... I really can't understand how I ever liked Erik/Christine now. I was young and naïve, I guess.
So, yeah: Raoul and Christine is where my shipping heart is at these days, and I'm desperately trying to find some stuff for them--and maybe even make some things myself--but it's not exactly easy to find good tributes for them. There ARE some amazing ones, don't get me wrong, but mostly it all seems to be team Phantom/Christine stuff.
Anyway...
(Also, if anyone here is reading this and ships the Phantom and Christine, that's totally, totally fine. I can see why you would, even. You go right ahead and enjoy that ship. Really
I'm just saying that for me, personally, I really can't get behind them at all anymore, and RC is where my joy lies.)
Edit: Also, "Love Never Dies" never happened in my mind, as Leroux's work is the true canon.

...Yep. Raoul/Christine has definitely taken over my life. I thought that maybe after reading the Phantom novel, I would've changed my mind--as Raoul's a bit more emotional and flawed in that, and Erik's more of an anti-hero there--but nope: if anything, I like them even more now.
In fact, I really can't even see how some people dislike Raoul/Christine anymore (as they really are what true love to me is at this point). They are my precious babies, too precious for this world (Raoul especially, when you consider all the unjustified hate he gets), and how I love and cherish them so
I also really, really adore Percy/Annabeth. They're probably my favorite book couple, actually. Especially where YA fiction is involved. I just think they're such a good example of what young adult book couples should be.
I mean, they grew up together and know each other so well--they were besties before they were anything else, which is something I really appreciate--and they're just so strong, healthy, beautiful, and caring together.
And Annabeth throws her freakin' knife into the water, and Percy knows just by that that she's in danger and to come and help her.
