Why didnt Braig enlighten Xehanort?

I just don't understand why Braig didn't try to lead the Organization for himself and use Xehanort as his pawn and manipulate him.

Also I love Luxord he is one of my favorite organization members.

He (LuXord) lost his game (His battle with Sora) but that made him win in the long run.

Before we digress too far, I have a question. When Braig says towards the end of Aqua's scenario, "I keep forgetting not to mess with keyblade wielders, but that just means i chose the right (work? I forget exact line)". Anyone think that Braig's end of the bargain would be he becomes a Keyblade master?
