I usually dont have to ask many KH question around here, but why do Xemnas and Roxas have different voices then Xehanort and Sora? I know the apprentices of Ansem the Wise have the same VA but they arent as major.
Why do Nobodies have a different voice then thier original selves?

They're both special cases of Nobodies, who's Heartless not only existed for a time simultaneously, but also existed in human form. That, and they both began the process that created their Nobodies of their own will. Or, you know, Nomura just did it for no particular reason, which I think is actually it.

I haven't paid much attention to the voice actor. But, maybe Nomura thought it would be interesting to give Roxas and Xemnas different voice actors to help liven up the series. That's just my opinion, though. Maybe, he thought that Xemnas sounded more sinister and boss-like than his Somebody, Xenahort.

Hey, there's bound to be loopholes in a game series that's had this many games to surpass it... what else can you say? I think the whole nobody thing was just something Square-Enix invented to add some more depth to the plot and advance the games, but who knows.

I think if those particular nobodies had the same voices I think it would get pretty confusing since their somebodies / heartless are recurring characters in the story. Plus it helps to show that they have completely different personalities to their counterparts.

They may have different voices due to the fact that they have no hearts, changing their tone of voice. Or maybe Nomura wanted them to be their own person with their own voice and everything.

Theyre different so they have different voices... but i know if roxy had the same voice as sorz i would be like yay no jesse mcartney but flip cause he doesnt ahve hios own voice... plus the main nobodies would have dif voices.... right?

actually, it's kinda easy to explain. Nobodies look and act similar to there somebodies but are not the same. so some look/sound very similar and others do not. So you can easily have some having different voices and others having the same. That's like asking why does Xenohart have a different haircut as a nobody then a somebody while say Even has basically the same look as a Somebody then a Nobody. Some just have larger diffrences then others. that's all it's not special.

Normal human Nobodies DO look almost exactly like their original selves; the reason why some members of Org XIII look different than their Somebodies as seen in BBS is because they became Nobodies a few years AFTER that game, instead of in the span of one year as Leon suggested since Nomura seems to be retconning that line. Special Nobodies are the ones who have different voices and looks to the originals.
Even Nobody transformation has a rule to follow. There is no 'One looks exactly the same as his original but the other does not' when it comes to normal human Nobodies.

Because returning to Sora stopped Roxas from popping up all over the place, affecting how Sora felt and reacted, and eventually dragged him to the Stations so he could fight Sora?
