Daily Mirror had the opportunity to interview Tetsuya Nomura at D23 Expo this past weekend about KINGDOM HEARTS 3 and its development.

Nomura declined to say what percentage of completion KH3 is at with its development because it's difficult to gauge with just a number. However, they do have everything planned out and are proceeding accordingly, which is why they could confidently announce the release window of 2018.

The latest issue of Famitsu Weekly has been released and includes a large spread on KINGDOM HEARTS 3 covering the Toy Story world reveal, new battle systems, and interview with Tetsuya Nomura!

“With Kingdom Hearts III, there was deliberate intent to kind of focus on the more newer titles. And then in terms of previous titles, we tried to balance it so that we have a good mix of some of the older IPs as well as some of the new worlds as well. But, yeah, with Kingdom Hearts III, there was a shift in that sort of thinking so we can focus on some of the newer titles,”

Famitsu had the opportunity to interview Tetsuya Nomura at D23 Expo and asked about the newly revealed Toy Story world, battle systems, and general story.

"The most interesting thing that Nomura said about it, is that the user will have no say over the type of Attraction Flow they activate, but rather they will be a surprise depending on the area. This way when you see that the indicator is ready to run the showy power, you will have the surprise of discovering what will happen and it's not something you can simply rengage in any environment you choose."
