The year is 1985. The world is full of stereotypes and cliques. The princesses pamper themselves up, the athletes kick a football, or run around on the field. The brains are solving equasions, the basket case is alone and the criminal is stealing other peoples property. Then a film is released that evaluates these cliques and shows that everyone has more depth to them then first glance. That people who are completely different can hang out. This film was "The Breakfast Club".

KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5 ReMIX-(hereto HD 1.5) released in Japan last week! Since its reveal at the annual Tokyo Game Show, fans across the globe have been anticipating this collection. Containing both full editions of Kingdom Hearts Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, fans everywhere have been excited at the very idea of playing these games in high definition.

Hello everyone! It's been a while since we first made that update about user-submitted editorials, and unfortunately we haven't had the opportunity to post them up due to the recent news outbreak. That, however, finally comes to an end! We're happy to bring you the first editorial, written by forum member Mirby!

With just TWO weeks, count them, two weeks until the Japanese release of Kingdom Hearts -HD 1.5 ReMIX-, one of the more interesting topics I have seen around the forums has been about what trophies are going to be included within the game.
So I, the mysterious, wonderful and magnicient Señor Pepito, am going to tell you what I would think would make the best trophies for the game. I have selected my top 5 FAVOURITE trophy ideas from each of the games and have presented them to you below [READ MORE].

Is there the potential for a Kingdom Hearts Dissidia game? Would Nomura be willing to approach Disney in order to pitch the idea he once had? Would Disney be willing to accept the idea of Disney characters fighting each other? Read on to find out!

For the official artwork for Donald and Goofy, Nomura would start with a rough draft, then send it over to a Disney designer to draw. After receiving the drawing, he'd draw it once more himself, making few changes from the designer's redraw. He drew their Atlantica and Halloween Town forms from beginning to end though.

As many of you are already aware, h.a.n.d. is the company well known for having developed Square Enix's Chocobo series as well as Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, based in Sapporo. During the final planning stages for Days, Hiroyuki Ito (Lead Planner: Missions) and Yasuhiro Sato (Lead Planner: Battles) had to take many long trips to Sapporo in order to work on the project. Ito in particular notes that he basically lived in a hotel for two months and lived on canned food for the entire time as his daily commute to and from the hotel and the h.a.n.d. building only led him past convenience stores.

Each party member obviously had their own defining characteristics established from their source material, so they those characteristics needed to be expressed properly though their programming considering the little time spent adventuring in their respective worlds.

Out of all of the party members designed for Kingdom Hearts, the most effort was put into the abilities and actions of The Little Mermaid's Ariel.

Nomura was asked by the project and menu leaders of KHII to hand-write the text in Jiminy's photo album within the journal. These notes were "written by Sora," so you can say that Sora and Nomura share the same handwriting. However, this is exclusive only to the Japanese version of the game.
