・The opening cutscene has been updated.
・The title screen has been updated.
・The BGM for the title, home, and UI screens have been updated.
・Theater Mode has been added.
・Medal Traits have been added.
・New facial expressions and skin colors have been added.
・Tutorial Quests have been added.
・Defense debuffs (including attribute-based defense) can now be stacked up to 7 times (previously 3).
・You will now be able to reduce the cost of Medals up to 20 (previously 10) using ★6 Cid Medals.
・You will now be able to recruit players that belong to a party.
・Game data will now be downloaded after a player completes the tutorial (Quests 1 through 6).
・The ability to unlock Special Attack Bonus on a Medal will now be achieved upon completing the Quest 34 (previously 200).
※ If you had completed Quest 34 before the update, the Special Attack Bonus feature will be unlocked once the application has been updated.
・The Special Attack Bonus tier will now be displayed as a number in addition to the previously used icon.
・The Medal filter feature has been expanded.
・The Medal will now display the Special Attack Bonus tier upon being pulled.
・Added shortcuts to the Keyblade selection screen.
・Increased the speed of the jump attack animation when battling raid bosses.

・For four weeks from today until May 3, 2017, we will be bringing back a total of eight avatar boards from the past for a limited time!

In this notice, we will explain the new "traits" mechanic, which was implemented during the maintenance from Apr. 5, 2017 8:00 p.m. to Apr. 6, 2017 4:00 a.m. (PT) / Apr. 6, 2017 from 3:00 to 11:00 (UTC).
■What are Medal Traits?
・When you fuse a Medal onto another Medal with the exact same name and rarity (in other words, a Medal with the same Album #), you will unlock the Medal's "trait".
・Unlike Skills, a Medal's trait(s) is always active.
※The Fantasia Mickey B Medal will not unlock any traits on a Medal.
※Fusing multiple copies of a Medal in the same fusion will not unlock more than one trait.
※Medal fusions performed before the update will not be granted traits retroactively.
・There are many different traits to unlock, and the trait that you get will be randomly decided each time you perform the Medal fusion.
・The number of traits you can have on a Medal (called "slots") differ from Medal to Medal.
・If you have filled in all trait slots on a Medal and attempt to unlock another trait, you will have the option of overwriting one of the Medal's unlocked traits.
If you choose not to overwrite, your Medal's trait(s) will not change.

| Extra Attack: 40% Power | Allows you to use the Medal a second time. |
| STR +1000 | Increases the Medal's Strength attribute. |
| DEF +2000 | Increases the Medal's Defense attribute. |
※If you have multiple Medals with the same traits in your loadout, the effects will stack NOTE: "Extra Attack" is an exception to this rule, since it will not stack past 2 of the effect.

・With the new Theater Mode, you are able to view story cutscenes of quests that you've completed!
・You can access Theater Mode from [MENU] > [Other] > [Theater].
・The story cutscenes will be divided by the world that they occurred in.

★ Simultaneous 6-Player Quests!
Read on to learn more about the new multiplayer "Union Cross" quests, which was implemented during the maintenance on Apr. 6, 2017.
■ What is "Union Cross"?
・Union Cross quests let you battle against the Heartless alongside other members of your Union in real-time! These quests will rotate periodically as you bring you a stream of fresh new content!
・By completing these quests you will earn "Cross Coins", which are used to unlock rewards on boards.
※"Cross Coins" can only be used during the period in which the Union Cross quests that you obtained the coins from were available.
※You can play Union Cross from [MENU] > [Quests]. Please note that you will need to have cleared Quest 34 in order to play Union Cross quests.
■ Quest Overview
・Upon starting the quest, your primary objective will appear on the screen. The quest will end when you complete this objective.
・During your quest, a timed objective may also appear on the screen. These are limited-time challenges, so you will want to work with your team to complete them before time runs out!
・The stages and objectives you will encounter are randomly decided based on the quest's theme. Work with your teammates to adapt to varying situations and tackle whatever might come your way!
■ Matchmaking
・From the Union Cross "Begin" screen, you are able to play quests with fellow Union members.
If you tap "Begin Now", you will immediately join a quest that other members from the same Union are currently playing.
If you tap "Begin with Party", you will enter a lobby that other party members can join.
・From the results screen you can choose to play again with the same players.
■ About Reviving
・If your HP reaches 0 and you become incapacitated, you will see a counter and gauge appear above your head.
・In order to be revived before the gauge depletes, your in-battle party members must tap on the counter until the number counts down to 0 and disappears.
・By tapping on a party member's counter, it will use up your current Medal's attack.
・Every time a player's HP reaches 0, the counter will start 1 higher than the last time that the player became incapacitated.
・If you are not revived before the gauge depletes, you can choose to either Use Jewels to Continue or Give Up.
■ About In-Quest Chat
・By tapping and holding on the speech bubble icon on the bottom right of the screen during quests, you can talk with your teammates using premade Chat Phrases.
・You can change which chat phrases you want to use by tapping on the "Chat Phrases" button from the Union Cross "Begin" screen.
■ Other
・If you get lost in a quest and want to find your teammates, simply tap and release the Chat Phrases button during a quest to briefly show icons indicating where your teammates are. Use this handy feature to quickly regroup with your team!
・You can see which players you've previously played with by tapping on the "Previous Members" button from the Union Cross screen. Use this to find parties to join or to recruit new party members!
