9/19 Union χ JP Update: Version 3.4.0, KH Stained Glass, Event Updates

KINGDOM HEARTS Union X will be updated to Version 3.4.0 following maintenance on 9/19. Here are all the updates:

Moogle Shop:

Various items can be purchased with jewels. Some items are only available for a limited time or by purchasing the VIP jewel pack, so don't miss out!

Passive Abilities - Lux Level:

Upon reaching Lv.350, players will receive passive buffs that increase ATK, DEF, HP, Gauges, etc., the effects of which improve as you level up.

At Lv.800, players will receive ATK+3000 (affects all medals), DEF+3000, HP+5000, and Gauges+3 (affects all Keyblades).

From Lv.350~450, players will receive a buff every 5 levels.
From Lv.450~550, players will receive a buff every 2 levels.
From Lv.550 and up, players will receive a buff at every level.

Passive Abilities - Keyblade Level:

Starting from Lv +35, players will receive buffs that increase the ATK of various medals, such as Upright Power, Upright Speed, Upright Magic, Reverse Power, Reverse Speed, Reverse Magic, Power, Speed, Magic, Upright and Reverse.

Medals must match the attribute of a passive ability in order to receive the buff.

For Example:
Upright Power Medal ATK+50 => Upright medals and Power medals gain 50 ATK
Power Medal ATK+100 => Power medals, regardless if they're Upright or Reverse, gain 50 ATK

Check what passive abilities are in effect on the Avatar Profile screen.

Simplified Medal Fusion:

Multiple enhancement medals can be fused into the target at once.

Fast Forward:

Players can now activate fast-forward through Union Cross quests!
Tapping a button on the results screen will skip right through the reward display.

Adjusted Subslot Multipliers:

Subslot multipliers of single and dual-colored Keyblades have been adjusted.

Single-color: 1.6x
Dual-color: 1.2x

Maximum Level and Capacity:

Max Lux level has been increased from 800 => 850.
Max medal capacity has been increased to 2,000 => 3,000.

For this occasion, a 50% off storage sale will be held from 9/19~10/24.

5 Proud Mode quests have been added (No. 896~900). Clear the challenges to earn 1 of each gem and 10 Magic Mirrors.

The bug preventing reflect damage from being inflicted on Raid Bosses has been fixed in Version 3.4.0.

To apologize for the time it took to correct this, 3000 jewels have been distributed to all players.

The number of cumulated event coins was mistakenly reset following yesterday's maintenance. As an apology, all players who started playing prior to maintenance have received enough coins to clear every board as an apology.

KH Stained Glass #1~6 can be upgraded to SB+! For this occasion, Falling Price Reprint Draws will be held from 9/20~9/23! Each pull guarantees 1 ★7 Stained Glass medal, 2 trait medals for the featured medal of that draw, with bonus 1 Magic Gem (differs depending on the draw), 10 L/R VIP coins.

(AOE) Super Burst: For 1 turn: Increases Magic Medal ATK+2000, ATK+7, Magic ATK+7 and Guilt+230% (280% if SB+), decreases enemy Upright DEF-7, DEF-7 and Magic DEF-7. Activates before the 2nd slot in PVP

Keyblade War -Episode 2- adds 2 new quests! Clear the challenges to earn 7 Sword Gems, 7 Wing Gems, as well as Chip and Dale medals.

Hades Paradox Cup has arrived! Access these quests by clearing the normal Hades Cup. Clear the challenges to earn gems and a special title.

September's BIG Bonus Challenge is available from 9/20~10/3! Defeat Leviathan and clear the challenges to earn up to 5000 jewels and a special title.

High Score Event is held from 9/20~9/30! Rank as high as you can to earn gems and skills from ranking rewards.

KHIII Sora, Kairi and Riku avatar boards return from 9/20~9/30 for 1500 jewels each!

RIGHT? I'm still at 430 since my party no longer plays competitively, so no need for active raiding. I just fight the one boss a day for jewels and that's it lmao

I'm barely even level 320. And honestly, that's just fine. Back in the day, getting stronger was always important because I was too weak to get through certain story quests, which were (and still are) the only things I really care about doing in this game. Everything else in this game—and I do mean literally EVERYTHING else—is just an endless feedback loop of "get stronger so you can win these items so you can be stronger so you can win these events so you can get more items so you can get stronger." Frankly, there's really no point to it considering every reward in this game is self-contained and has no benefit outside of perpetuating the endless loop.
Granted, they might continue to level scale the story quests, but I fear at that point it makes the story all but inaccessible to newcomers, as they'd probably have to slog for months or maybe even years to get to where all the other players are at this point.

That new Riku from the FFBE collab event is way too precious. I dig all the Rikus. I really really want them to release merch like that - exactly these sweet little SRK dolls from the new artwork. That would be an instant buy and much closer to the series than underwear, umbrellas or socks. I'll probably have to pay a private person to make me one ;_;

So now I can dress up like Riku, have Riku on my head, have a Riku balloon follow me, & have a Riku on my DE's head. Do I also get a keyblade made out of Rikus while we're at it?
