During last week's Playstation LineUp Tour, KINGDOM HEARTS III's Big Hero 6 world was finally unveiled in all its splendor, over three years after it was first formally announced. Albeit brief, it showed off the illustrious Big Hero 6 combating the Heartless threat in San Fransokyo, along with a new look at the Gummi Ship mechanic and some quick glimpses at new story elements. There was a lot to take in, but that was only the short version.
After a long week of waiting, Square Enix has finally released the brand new extended trailer for Kingdom Hearts III.
Just ahead of the Tokyo Game Show event, KINGDOM HEARTS III fans were transported to the futuristic city of San Fransokyo, where the heroic cast of Big Hero 6 joins Sora and his friends in an epic battle against the darkness. Big Hero 6’s story of friendship continues on in KINGDOM HEARTS III, as the super crew of Hiro Hamada, Honey Lemon, Go Go Tomago, Wasabi No-Ginger, Fred and their robot companion Baymax embark on a new adventure together with Sora, Donald and Goofy.
The world of Big Hero 6 is just one of the expansive worlds in the massive KINGDOM HEARTS universe. The trailer also shows off new footage from the Disney and Pixar worlds of Frozen, Monsters, Inc., Tangled and Pirates of the Caribbean, while shedding new light on the KINGDOM HEARTS storyline as well as a first glimpse of a fan-favorite character.
Additionally, the trailer introduces a new way Sora will use his Gummiphone, which has the ability to take selfies with his new friends along his journey.

Jiminy finally made an appearance too!!! Wow this trailer was packed full of stuff. I love the confirmation of Marshmallow being a party member - though I’m still upset it’s not at least Elsa. We need more female party members, please.

You know, I've been feeling down about Kingdom Hearts lately. Epseically since a lot of fans have been harshly critical of the series itself. Not saying criticism isn't warrant or valid but I've always appreciate the story and characters of Kingdom Hearts and I've had very little complaints compared to others and understanding why sole fans don't like or care about certain things that I do made me feel weird to even like this series for what it is. I know it's not the best written story with the best written arcs but it's always hit an emotional core that no others series has done for me. Maybe I'm too soft on the series, maybe I'm nostalgia blinded. I don't know. But for the past few weeks, I feel like my love for the series isn't warrant or something; like it's a bad thing that this story I've been following for so long is one I consider good, even despite its fault. And I've been believing that maybe that foolish too think and I shouldn't be into it as much as I am.
This trailer and latest boxart threw all that doubt out the window. Despite its faults I love this story and I love its characters and this trailer showing pretty everything I've ever wanted from the conclusion of the series being presented show me that it's okay to love this series. It's okay to also admit its faults but there's something about that has always kept me going back and that is something no other series has done for me. It also makes me happy that I get to share this love for the series with my little sister, who's into a lot of gaming like me and KH was the first thing I introduce her to. Since playing all the games, she has been begging me for when this game will come out and that's something I never expect and makes me love this series more. That, despite the writing, is still able to bring people together and connect with the story and gameplay. And on that level KH succeeds for me.
I can't wait to play this. It's becoming everything I've ever wanted as a kid when KH2 was finally done. Will the plot be any good? Who knows but I think know in my heart that'll satisfy me no matter what. Me and my baby sister are going to love playing this game.

We have no clue that he’s the final seeker. There’s over 13 “Seekers†that have been revealed now. Clearly not all of them will be the final Seekers.

In the scene with Demyx walking out of the dark corridor if you pause at the right time you can see his eyes are definitely yellow now. We don't get to see Saix's face, but he was present in DDD with the rest of the Xehanorts already. We also don't get to see Terra's face, but the chess piece that is clearly his Ends of Earth keychain charm is now gold/dark. Data Riku, and Vexen are both also present. Along with Aqua, who has been shown obviously with yellow eyes and silver hair, and the rest of the previously shown Norts whose pieces are on the board, that brings the total up to 14.
So at least one of these folks must not make it to the end as a bad guy.

There are ways this scene can work out where I wouldn't hate it, but honestly I'm just really worried about Kairi at this point. We've seen pretty much nothing of her except Axel and that flippin rock and then the very next glimpse we get of her is...a romantic sunset with Sora.

Great.... they’ve probably been reduced to Team Rocket roles again. Pairing Pete with Maleficent was the absolute worst mistake Nomura made. It ruined her character imo. Playing KH1, we were all made to believe she was the main antagonist, because she was an actual threat. And now she’s been made to be just an annoying nuisance. No one can take Pete as a serious antagonist and it makes her look bad (and not in the good way lol)

Also a wonderful treat after spending an unbearable 4 hours trying to defeat Roxas in KH2FM for the first time. (I discovered a neat hack after 50+ tries, catching him against the wall infinitely with slide dashes whilst bearing his keyblades following the "The End" phase.)
Could Demyx/Myde/Edym/whatever be a good guy? Shot of him carrying a body is in a room we've seen associated with allies Ienzo and Ansem the Wise. Also, gold eyes indiscernible at this point.
Why have we not seen anything of Maleficent and Pete aside from that tiny scene of them talking to Hades?
Great.... they’ve probably been reduced to Team Rocket roles again. Pairing Pete with Maleficent was the absolute worst mistake Nomura made. It ruined her character imo. Playing KH1, we were all made to believe she was the main antagonist, because she was an actual threat. And now she’s been made to be just an annoying nuisance. No one can take Pete as a serious antagonist and it makes her look bad (and not in the good way lol)
Actually the fact that they haven't showed those two yet is all the more reason to believe Nomura actually has something big planned for them.

That or their true utilization is best kept a secret!! Maleficent said she had 'great plans for dear Pete' in KH3D. Secret bosses in KH have always been foreshadowing. Xemnas, Terra, YMX, Phantom Aqua... Julius was always going to appear in some capacity in KH3, so maybe they use the book of prophecies to power up Pete.

Since Terranort tricked Aqua intro revealing where Ven is, my guess is he told Vanitas (and possibly other Organizations members too). But since he now knows where Ven is, does Master Xehanort really need the thirteen?
Theyve known for a long time where he is though. But they could never find the Chamber in Castle Oblivion. Aqua and the Master Defender are obviously needed to break the seal and open the room.

The window in the shot looks more like Agrabah architecture as the city has those crosshatch style windows. I don’t see those in any of the Jungle Book stuff. Then there is the sand that gives off a desert vibe. It looks like it might too dark of an aesthetic to be either though.

I think it's possible they might have a less popular property that would be more fitting as a famitsu reveal. I don't think every world needs to suited for a big event reveal. Though that's just me.

I really hope since Ansem the Wise is clearly back and in that scene with Ienzo, his eyes shut, that we're going to see a genuine father loving son moment between the two.

I think Ienzo is going to feel a lot of regret for betraying Ansem, who obviously was his father figure. It most likely explains why he wants to help Sora, so he can right his wrongs.

Tangled was confirmed in a trailer at E3, and Big Hero 6 was confirmed at D23 2015. Big Hero 6 is the only world to be announced outside of a trailer, but Roy Conli still spoke on its inclusion in one.

Should be pretty identifiable, it's the clock tower top where Axel, Roxas, and Xion always ate ice cream together. Which makes it such a kick in the teeth that it appears that, THAT is where the two finally will reunite.

This is actually what I've been thinking, that Vanitas is extracting her Darkness out and that's what we see in the RoD. It would explain why her hands are starting to look like Vanitas' bodysuit.

I don't think Kristoff and Sven are "Frozen" by Larxene I think she is perhaps showing them a future vision on what's to come of Elsa. In fact, the scene with Kristoff and Sven is when Anna sacrificed herself to save Elsa from Hans back in Arendelle during the climax of the movie.
Judging by the dark blue background SDG are in when they are conversing with Larxene is perhaps where she makes the Ice Labyrinth and summons the Ice Wolf Heartless to attack our heroes, with Marshmallow assisting Sora's party. Maybe after when Marshmallow fell into the ravine after Hans cut his leg off during the siege at Elsa's Ice Castle is when Marshmallow teams up with SDG.
The only other option I can think of is Agrabah. Of the top of my head I can't think of any other Disney film with this color scheme
I would be surprised on Agrabah returning, and be the Desert level in the game, of course, it will depend on the story it will tell, cause if they are doing the King of Thieves storyline the ocean exploration to the Vanishing Isle might be too similar to the Pirates of the Caribbean world in terms of aesthetic and environment.

I know this isn't too much and yes people are frustrated by the lack of NPC's in SF. But I noticed in the trailer that when Sora was riding Baymax If you slow the speed I saw some moving trucks and cars, so at least some NPC's are still intact.
I'm guessing pooh is gonna have his own grand world reveal in one the big events coming. It'll be all about pooh with it ending a 1 sec shot of xooph, the organizations new nort at the end.

Off the top of my head, he composed the Vanitas themes and songs for The Grid.
This was hands down the best trailer we've received for KH3. So many things to talk about and the game looks AMAZING. Long gone are the days of 2015 and being worried that the models look like clay, everyone looks fucking HOT now.

I just watched the trailer on my Apple TV and it was fucking fantastic to imagine that I was actually playing the game. It's so beautiful, I can't believe how they got so many distinct and clashing art styles and worlds to work in a single game whereas some games struggle to get even one art style to work cohesively.
Crazy how far we've come in over a decade. The CG was so impressive at the time but I honestly think KH3 has surpassed their old CG (of course Kairi and Lea's CG scenes are very beautiful).

. Hopefully the team have taken time to give some more complex interactions in San Fransokyo, cause at the moment the city feels dead empty and there's a lack vibrance to it. San Franskoyo is a complex city with much diverse buildings and herb. Would be very disappointing if they only modelled the city to have it's buildings in the same gray, and the same green cars driving the streets. And while there is presence for some trees in different color, it doesn't do justice to the film. Coming from someone that pays a lot of attention to the detail and research from the film. Some streets still have a lot of detail, but it could have looked even better.

Tangled seems to be a very NPC centred world. After checking for reference of the film, I found that it will be a world where critters will roam around. Bunnies & birds were seen in the trailer.

Like, I feel like if a kid watching these shows saw a dedicated Television commercial for KH3 that focused on these worlds, they would think it looks awesome and the games would then be on their radar. It's some great cross promotion.

Of course it doesn't. I'm sure they'll make an announcement of another world coming at the show as well. Not in a new trailer but either just an announcement, screenshots, or renders. They did that all the time back in the day and they did it with Big Hero 6. I think we've got at least 2-3 more Disney Worlds left.
Jump Festa is probably when they will announce the final Disney World. Keep in mind there's more then just Disney Worlds left to be revealed and Nomura said the total of worlds in KH3 surpasses KH2.

This trailer was not as good as the E3 ones imo-- too much, too fast. Also, I'm now even less tempted to discuss who the 13 Norts might be that I was for all these years.
There are way too many people, I'm starting to sense that just like KH II we'll have some black coats that don't belong with the villains, and I'm even startying to wonder if the yellow eyes won't be retconned and if that stuff with Marluxia at the trailers wasn't a mistake.
I also love how the first minute in San Fransokyo was quite literally PS4 Spiderman, what with wall running and following a robot sending orbs in the sky.

So I think the only thing that disappoints me with this trailer is that we might not ever get an English version of this cut. But I’m hoping they’ll consider releasing one once the dubbing is complete. If not though, at least the English voices will feel fresh in these scenes when I play the game.

They already tried to make him a vessel and given the effort they went through to do so, and failed, I don't think they would attempt it twice (plus, why, we already did this plot). Not only that, but the True Org would appear to be at a surplus of vessels. That conversation would have made sense if they were just talking about destroying Sora outright since they don't need him anymore, but at this point, they could afford to knock off two or three people and still have the requisite 13 Darknesses. Right now Sora is way more valuable to them as a Guardian, because they still need the seven lights to form the X-Blade.
I also don't think it's unlikely at all that we'll see Seekers betray the True Org. regardless of MX's will. It's KH so I'm sure there are ways to get around that.

But you got to learn to accept that no matter him much you want him to return he's not coming back to voice Ansem due to his involvement on a very controversial anti-American Turkish film and he mostly does Theatre these days.

I live for this shit, the possibility gives me lots of feels. We still don't know all of Kairi's background, and we don't know Lea's either, many things could or could not be there, either way I want to keep this interpretation window open, the idea of them being somehow related/connected is one of a special kind

There's not that much of a surplus imo. If you count at the non coats(except Master Xehanort obviously) which means cross off Aqua(who may get saved before the clash if the trailer is any indication) and Terra(who is clearly still unstable and doing....something somewhere.) You have:

Not really. So far there has been no known way to get around it. Terra is the exception and that's only because he has another heart(Eraqus) helping him out. The other vessels don't have that. Then again most of the vessels are likely working with Xehanort of their own free will for a common goal.

People are still trotting out this tired old rumor? As far as I know the fact is that was never actually confirmed as the reason, not to mention it was over a decade ago. And there was just that thread the other day where it talked about how he sketched Ansem and apparently he even said he didn't know why he was never asked to return (just like Hayden now).

They can always just announce a new world/worlds at the panel and then basically say please wait for further information in the near future or in the upcoming releases of Famitsu/Jump Festa/Dengeki magazine you'll see a first look at new Disney World or something.
No one seems to have noticed this yet, but that scene of Vanitas standing over Aqua at that angle looks almost identical to when he was going to kill Aqua at the end of Ventus' story in BBS. The overflowing light coming from the chair where Ventus is supposed to be is also pretty suspect. My guess is that after being saved, Aqua took Sora to Ventus' location where he then dives into Ventus' heart in order to wake him up. Aqua stands guard, but due to either being ambushed or her lack of a Keyblade, she was quickly bested. Ventus then wakes up and saves Aqua just in the nick of time (a perfect call back to there second to last battle in BBS). I mean, we see Sora in Ventus' dive to heart, and I can't realistically think of many other reasons for him to be there unless he's waking him up.

Anyone else noticed how in this trailer all the chess pieces are black, except one white piece, the one with Sora's crown, which Eraqus moves in the end? All the other white pieces are already taken on Xehanort's side, which in chess means Xehanort is on his way to a win; it also means that the last white piece standing is the white King, represented by Sora. The current chess game is in the game position "lone king", Xehanort left Eraqus with his king only - this game of chess cannot be won by Eraqus as it is, but technically the chess game is not an automatical defeat, so Eraqus can continue playing until Xehanort either delivers a check-mate on him, or somehow Eraqus reaches a draw with Xehanort.

This trailer and the box art dropping yesterday made me so dang happy. KH3 feels more real with every passing day. I think my biggest question about the trailer is where Roxas is in that shot towards the end.

Honestly really loving this trailer and how you notice the changes in graphics back from the previous and or earlier trailers. I'm excited to see Demyx again since I kind of missed him. Also is that Data Riku being norted? Good gosh, Sora listening to Hiro and Anna also got me emotional, what a good friend he is. And the transition of the shot with his eyes and Roxas', I like it! But really love how everything seems and or will be connecting in this game. I also find the idea of Sora taking selfies quite funny but also cute and makes sense especially with the gummi phone but this would make for some good potential fanart. Crazy theory: Even has let himself be Norted to get the power of darkness and rescue Ansem the Wise from the RoD. He and Demyx are betraying the True Organization and working alongside Ienzo and Ansem. Vexen speaks of "HIS plan", I wonder if he's referring to Ansem or Ienzo.

Yep besides we already got Two Trailers focusing on Big Hero 6 so maybe we don't need another Trailer for a New World they could do a World announcement with no New Trailer they could announce a New World in some way or some form or give us hints on what the New World is.

Some points to consider:
1. I know it seems like we have all Norts accounted for at this time, but ironically, it is Larxene saying that they do indeed have all of them that makes me doubt this. And my doubt comes from no other reason than this: Larxene is a sadistic lying b**tch. I didn't believe her for a second, and while we have no proof, it would fit her character perfectly to do something like this.
2. Aqua's fate, at least out of what we know. What strikes me is the scene with Aqua kicking at AsoD's shadow. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe I've ever seen any of our Keyblade wielders even attempt to seriously destroy a Heartless with anything other than their Keyblade. Because, well, they know better. So, if she's not using her Keyblade (Eraqus's Keyblade), it would follow that she can't. Because she doesn't have it anymore. And I think I know why. Check this out:
Ansem Seeker of Darkness (and possibly others) find Aqua before Mickey and Riku. Aqua fights, with Riku and Mickey racing to help, fighting as they go. But eventually, Aqua realizes she can't win, and knows she cannot give up her Master's Keyblade, as that would lead them to Ven. So, she sends her Master's Keyblade off into the ether, losing it in the process. Choosing, once again, to save her friends at the cost of herself, which imo is the only reason Aqua would ever have willingly given up her Keyblade. Afterwards, she is easily beaten, and just before Riku and Mickey reach her, her heart is split like Ven's was, which leads directly to the Aqua scene from the E3 trailer. Like, it had just happened, hence her indistinct dark form at first, her seeming surprise at the new Keyblade. And, of course, her words to King Mickey. Because they were, quite literally, too late.......then, some time afterwards, Eraqus's Keyblade homes in on Ven/Sora's light, which is when Sora stumbles across it on Destiny Islands.
Why not a Nort, you ask? Well, the lack of the signature coat, while not ironclad, is a good indicator. Her new, previously unknown Keyblade is another. The only other split heart we know of, Vanitus, also received a new Keyblade when split, when all other Norts have by all indications kept their original weapons. And even better, Aqua's unconscious body at the LoD. That needs to be explained. The assumption is that is her real body, sunken into a comatose state just like Ven's was. What Vanitus told Aqua back in BBS, "Never hurts to have a backup".........the fact that according to Vanitus's other scene at RoD he still has not gotten Ven's heart from Sora. The fact that it IS Vanitus standing over Aqua, posed to attack, or quite possibly to take her light for himself.........omg, too much Nomura, can't take it!:mad:

it looks like Roxas might be in Agrabah due to the dessert like atmosphere. Plus that building that Roxas is standing in front of reminds me of the ruins we explored in KH2 where we fought Jafar's ghost thing.
Anyhow, I think this has been the best trailer so far, I'm so escited for the gameplay and to see how these events unfold, especially with Aqua. I also can't help but love that there's a selfie mode. it would be amusing if we were able to take selfies during the final battle.

Haha! Yes, that is true. But, you can tell even Donald and Goofy are disappointed when hearing it's Ienzo and not Riku, which makes me wonder what has happened to Riku after they both him and Mickey leave the Dark World, and at what point in the story this scene takes place. Interesting!

However if they are doing the plot of the Third movie (King of Thieves) then the Ocean exploration as they travel to the Vanishing Isle might be to similar to the Pirates of the Caribbean world in terms of aesthetics and gameplay. So perhaps they might do an original plot with elements borrowed from the third movie (Aladdin & Jasmine's wedding) so it won't be similar to Pirates.

It looks like they've improved the wall-running mechanic since the release of the Rock Titan demo. You can see in San Fransokyo it looks a bit more free moving, and not so jagged. Pretty cool!

When they won't get burned down at the steak by the far right and overly religious people. Which will never happen. It would be too much of a business risk to have openly LGBT characters in a Disney movie at this point in society. The chances of a mass boycott would still be high. Keep in mind their chess game can represent events from the entire series, not just KH3. So it could represent Terra being possessed by Xehanort in BBS.

I think this game will have zero FF characters and tbh I'm happy about it. I wanna see them again in a future title but I feel like this game is already so heavy on characters, that unnecessary FF characters would confuse players... especially casual players. It just makes the story more complicated for no reason. It's not like they ever served any real purpouse anyways.

People who were doing marketing for KH3 for SE during E3 said that there will be final fantasy characters old and new in KH3 but we have to wait for further information to be revealed. They even teased that they couldn't imagine a KH game without any FF characters. This was said during that very long episode of Coliseum where KH3 was featured.
I could see FF characters being talked about at the panel on Friday/Saturday.

As far as that world being Aladdin while I would not mind a return to Agrabah I can't shake the feeling Aladdin is just gonna be the Earth summon in the game. Same as how I expect Jack Skellington to be the Dark element summon or Wind.
But I do think no matter what we have 3 worlds left to be revealed and if one of them is a returning world then I'm perfectly fine with Aladdin being the choice. I can see PATF and TJB being the last ones.
I'm still waiting on the infamous wild card Disney World, the shocking one.
For KH1 that was TNBC and for KH2 it was POTC and Tron. What are the wild card/shocking world in KH3? Maybe something like The Great Mouse Detective or The Rescuers?
I'm trying to think of properties to go along with the remaining Seekers that are world-less.
I think Demyx would be great for The Princess and the Frog or Atlantis.
Vexen would be something like The Jungle Book or another Disney old classic.
Isa would have made the most sense for Frozen but I could see him getting Agrabah instead.
I could see Demyx in Princess and the Frog, Vexen in Agrabah, and Saix in Atlantis. That would be my dream scenario. But I don’t want to be too hopeful that we could have three more Disney worlds. They could put Demyx and Vexen together in a Disney world or they could just appear in an original worlds like Ansem and Xemnas.
It seems each seeker though has a world aside from the obvious Xehanort and Ansem. I feel that Isa and Demyx at the very least should get worlds.
Isa especially as he was one of the first revealed SOD and Larxene swooped and took the world that made the most sense for him.
I'd stick Demyx to a more laid back world like the jungle and Vexen to the more mystical New Orleans. Somehow Enchanted Dominion will have a presence thanks to KHX.
Your version doesn't really make any sense though as Vexen and Demyx are part Xehanort meaning defying Xehanort is futile. And you've misinterpreted what Xigbar and Ansem were talking about. They were only talking about Sora. That's it.
People just don't want to accept villains choose to be villains and not everyone needs a "redemption arc".
Sora is waaaay more valuable to the Organization alive rather than dead. Even if Sora goes off their "chosen path", he is still a guardian of light and I can think of nothing more than those Org XIII members wanting to fight Sora in the final battle and get revenge.
The new Org XIII has members which have teetered on cowardice (Demyx, if he actually is one) or betrayal (Saix in Days, Marluxia, Larxene). I feel like they want to ensure they will be going into the final battle with all XIII, rather than risk any chance of being betrayed at the last moment.

Has anyone noticed that Young Xehanort from the chess scene looks a lot different than the Young Xehanort that Ben Diskin voices? Could this be this game's new Xehanort? We've gotten a new Xehanort per game, so perhaps he might have an use beyond the chess game cutscenes?
This is honestly a stretch, but it's an idea I wanted to throw.
Regarding the surplus of Guardians and Seekers, something tells me we'll be having a very fluid amount of change between both factions, and, again, something tells me the encounter won't necesarrily be encased in 20 fighters, but rather a surplus of Lights and Darks, but possibly the Seekers will be 13, while the Guardians will have a surplus.
It's my honest opinion regarding the matter. And I'm behind the theory that "Aquanort" is actually Dark Aqua, the dark half of Aqua's heart. As to where she might be, it's possible her heart and body are over in the Land of Departure still. And I'm already imagining a plot line where Sora momentarily visits the Realm of Darkness in order to weaken Dark Aqua, and have Aqua embrace her darkness and absorb herself back in.
Another thing I wanted to share was something I read in GameFAQs along the lines of the Xehanorganization having traitors, and those traitors will live on to be the next saga's antagonist group.
And also, something tells me that Maleficent will have a big role, seeing as how Data Riku is outside of the Datascape, and that perhaps may have something to do with her. I mean, we can't ignore the fact she was there, was talking about the Book of Prophecies, and is looking for the Box.

The same could be said about Marluxia's role in Kingdom of Corona and his plans for Rapunzel as it would mirror how he manipulated her for his own advantage much like how Mother Gothel did it in the original film.

That's a good point, as long as the Disney worlds are unique from one another from a gameplay progression and don't have the same environments/themes, I'd love to see how the world looks like in Unreal Engine 4. I also am hoping for NPC's to roam around in the streets of Agrabah.
I'd be surprised of its return as a world but until SE makes an announcement if it's a returning world or shown in cutscenes I'd prefer to wait and be surprised.

Yup, I also notice that none of the crew of the Flying Dutchman were with Davy Jones in the short scene in the trailer so either they were replaced by Heartless or just were shown off-screen. I'm hoping we get Bootstrap Bill and Maccus making appearances in this world cause they are the most recognizable members of the Flying Dutchman Crew, besides Davy.
Now that we finally got the Krakken still alive and having involvement in the Maelstrom fight it seems that Luxord is taking Cutler Beckett's and Mercer's place in the world. Though I'm also curious on the outcome of the world following the Maelstrom battle against Davy Jones and the Krakken along with the death of Davy Jones' at the hands of Will Turner who becomes the new Captain of the Flying Dutchman cause in the film after the battle in the Maelstrom, the Endeavour was approaching and set to attack the Pearl up until the Dutchman now with Will at the helm come to the Pearl's aid and destroyed the Endeavour together.

Has anyone noticed that Young Xehanort from the chess scene looks a lot different than the Young Xehanort that Ben Diskin voices? Could this be this game's new Xehanort? We've gotten a new Xehanort per game, so perhaps he might have an use beyond the chess game cutscenes?

Those are pretty notable differences too. I like the “How I have waited.†It seems a bit more expressive than the KH channel version. But then I prefer “leave our mark†because it seems to be where the “Make Your Mark†campaign name was derived from.

I think it is set in present day. You mentioned earlier that Agrabah could be a late stage world and it would make sense for Roxas to be active near the game's climax.

Yeah, I think Vexen would be a good choice too. If for no other reason than I always had the headcanon as a kid that Blizzard Lord was his Heartless. Lol. But he also has some parallels to Jafar, even if Jafar won’t be around. Both worked closely with the ruler of their worlds and ultimately betrayed them. I think his element would also be a cool contrast with the hot nature of the world.

I do agree with this. While the architecture itself looks like it could be set there, it doesn’t look cartoonish enough. It is more comparable to a Twilight Town and Keyblade Graveyard in that regard.
This trailer made me so excited. The shortened version just kinda made me go 'ok, that's nice' but the extended version was so amazing. So many new things to talk and theorize about.
A couple thoughts on things that haven't been discussed as much:

[*]Data Twilight Town seems to be back. Also, Olette, Hayner, and Pence seem to have a big role in Twilight Town and Data Twilight Town, to the point that they actually tag along with you for a bit. I wasn't expecting that (I was expecting them to have a decent sized role, but not to the point of coming with you anywhere important) so that made me happy.
[*]Ugh, timed minigames. I'm happy they are there, cause I know other people will enjoy them, but at the same time I personally don't like minigames so I'm a bit scared by the sheer number of them they are including. I hope they don't tie too many important things to them, forcing me to play them all.
[*]That bit of Sora and Anna talking was nice. It seems like they might handle the story and chars in Arendel pretty well.
[*]Sora and the rest might have been so eager to get a call from Riku because they were worried about him after seeing Dark Riku (calling him that since we have no idea which Riku it is for now) (Please don't let it be like Re:COM where they think it is actual Riku from . It was interesting in that game because it was the first time they did it, but if they do it again it would be kind of like 'Come on Sora, you should know better from last time. You are smarter than this.")

[*]There is some sort of barrier in the shot where Vanitas is about to stab Aqua. If you look closely at it, it has a hole in the middle of it, where the damaged part is. So the question is if it was supposed to keep Vanitas out or if it was supposed to keep Aqua out. Or if it was created a long time ago and has nothing to do with either of them.
[*]Is Ven still in the chamber in Castle Oblivion or is he somewhere else? It looks like somewhere else right? Or at least that the castle got transformed? There is decidedly less white than there used to be. Also, there is another chair beside the one he is sitting in. So my conclusion is that it has to be somewhere else. Maybe where Aqua is about to get stabbed, even. It's hard to tell without seeing much of the surrounding, but the style of them doesn't appear to be too dissimilar.
[*]The scene where some of Big Hero 6 eats with Sora seemed a little strange (because there is no precedent, like someone said before), but I loved the detail of them eating icecream bars rather than sea salt icecream. Also, maybe it is something Sora suggests doing (maybe as a way to celebrate after they have some important victory), which would make it less out-of-the-blue.

Assuming nothing goes wrong with the English voice acting then we should be fine. Two to three months should be enough time to fix any character models before release.

I'm glad that we now know how many Darknesses there are left which means each of those darknesses gets a world.
It seems very obvious to me that Terranort is in the same location as Roxas.
Checking the background in Terranort's scene, there is a stone wall, with the same color palette as with the wall in Roxas reveal. This makes me believe that it might in fact be connected to the Keyblade Graveyard. A location where all darkness might gather before the inevitable war. Or could this be from later stages in the game as the battle is about to commence?
The very temporary shot of Terranort makes me also believe that Terra is still fighting inside, despite all those years that have passed since Aqua encountered him in the Realm Of Darkness. The question I find interesting is, where have Terranort been all this time since the disatreous experimenting in Radiant Garden?

Ditto, I'm indifferent if Aladdin comes back and I'm all in for Aladdin and Jasmine's wedding, but I also definitely love to see some 2D Disney worlds appear in Kingdom Hearts III, as Hercules is so far the lone wolf of the bunch.

The same can be said on Olympus and The Caribbean, the former because not only are we exploring the rest of the movie's world but it's adapting the film's climax when Hades and the Titans launch their attack on Mt. Olympus. As for the latter, the world is following the plot to At World's End which was the conclusion of the Original Pirates of the Caribbean Trilogy and as the 4th and 5th movies take place 2 decades after the third movie, it looks like we won't be coming back to the world in a while, unless for a major huge time skip for Sora and the gang. Not to mention it could allow Treasure Planet to officially become a world in KH4.

I actually agree with you, in fact, none of the walls and architecture match the ones found in Agrabah and seem to lean on the realistic side of things on par with the Original worlds (Twilight Town, Radiant Garden). So I'm betting this looks to be the Keyblade Graveyard.

I can agree with Jack since in an Interview by Nomura (dunno which one) said they are working on redefining the models for the Pirates Characters, so they are far from completed. I'm going to respectfully disagree with you on Anna, true her skin tone seems to be light but in terms of textures and lighting, I think the Anna model shown in the latest trailer is a step above her appearance from the E3 trailer. In fact, there are traces of her freckles present around her nose and face even if they are faintly seen. But most importantly Anna's hair looks more detailed than how it looked in the E3 trailer, so I put her on par with the Tangled and Big Hero 6 characters, even if they still need some work done she looks so much better than her previous model from the E3 trailer

Depends though, it seems that most of the Big Hero 6 team are going to be in their suits/costumes for the majority of the world cause they don't want the citizens of San Fransokyo to know their original identities as seen in the film and TV series. The only people to know about their identities without telling the world are Heathcliff (Fred's Butler) and Alistair Krei.
The only possibility to see them in their civilian clothes is probably during the credits, much like how in the KH2 credits they created a character model of Ariel as a human. So who's to say.

Yeah, but the combat level and the Health bar for the enemies and the boss fight against Barbossa was actually way below the Combat Level of Agrabah, Halloween Town, and Pridelands.

The order of the Disney worlds goes likes this:
First Set: Olympus, Toy Box, and Monstropolis (you also go to Twilight Town after Olympus but prior to going to Toy Box)
Second Set: Kingdom of Corona, Arendelle, (Princess and the Frog or Brave), *100 Acre Wood or Sugar Rush as a sub world.
Third Set: (Agrabah, Jungle Book or Lilo & Stitch), The Caribbean, San Fransokyo
San Fransokyo is definitely the final Disney world you visit before heading off to Face Xehanort and his Group and the Keyblade is based on the previous keyblade transformations on the worlds you visited.
Arendelle looks to be either the 2nd or the 3rd Disney world you visit since in the cutscene, Larxene told SDG that they've already gotten their 13th member. Although I would be surprised if Arendelle is the first world you go to before going to Kingdom of Corona, but I'd prefer to have it appear as a 2nd/3rd world.
Lilo and Stitch deserves to be the last returning world. Also Frozen still looks leagues more polished than Big Hero 6.
As much as I dream of wanting Lilo & Stitch I guess the ship might have sailed as we are heading back to Destiny Islands in the game. But I'd be surprised if it appeared, so we shall see.

It does have that electronic feel to it, yeah. I kinda dig the Grid one a lot more though, myself. It fit the feeling of Tron Legacy perfectly. I guess I knew BH6 wouldn't be the easiest to make music for because I barely remember the music in it at all tbh lol. So an electronic direction isn't bad. I guess I want something "superhero" sounding, but maybe that's just me wanting an Incredibles world with the main theme as the battle theme cuz it would work perfectly lol.
Yeah, but the combat level and the Health bar for the enemies and the boss fight against Barbossa was actually way below the Combat Level of Agrabah, Halloween Town, and Pridelands.

San Fransokyo is definitely the final Disney world you visit before heading off to Face Xehanort and his Group and the Keyblade is based on the previous keyblade transformations on the worlds you visited.
Arendelle looks to be either the 2nd or the 3rd Disney world you visit since in the cutscene, Larxene told SDG that they've already gotten their 13th member. Although I would be surprised if Arendelle is the first world you go to before going to Kingdom of Corona, but I'd prefer to have it appear as a 2nd/3rd world.
As much as I dream of wanting Lilo & Stitch I guess the ship might have sailed as we are heading back to Destiny Islands in the game. But I'd be surprised if it appeared, so we shall see.
I agree with your speculation for the most part, but the the part that threw me off was Sora's flashbacks of Roxas during San Fransokyo. That probably means Roxas doesn't come back until after, and yet Sora & gang & Twilight Town are definitely trying to save him earlier in the game. It'll be real interesting to see how that'll all play out in the game. I assumed trying to save Roxas was an early thing

I agree with you, although there have been some moments in the series such as the first Kingdom Hearts game and Kingdom Hearts II, mostly the former where Sora did bond with the Disney characters he met (particularly Ariel, The Beast, Winnie the Pooh and the 100 Acre Wood gang, Tron, Simba etc.) they weren't in the same level as the scenes seen Kingdom Hearts III (well Pooh could be considered the sit-down heart-to-heart moment in the series, lol). Maybe with Walt Disney Animation Studios and to an extent Pixar being involved in the Disney worlds and the characters, they're making sure that the Disney/Disney-Pixar characters have the same personalities and actions from the films without being out of character in the KH narrative, but that's just me.
Also, the brief scene of SDG when they were conversing with Elsa before she saved them from the Reindeer Heartless from the E3 trailer, along with the Toy Box cutscenes with the Toy Story characters (particularly Woody and Buzz) also had these moments as well. Here's to hope we get some sit-down moments for Olympus, Monstropolis, The Caribbean, Corona, and the remaining 2-3 Disney worlds.

Fair enough, I just want Nomura or someone from SE to just officially confirm if Wreck-It Ralph is the world for Union Cross so the issue can be out of the way and not have any more red herrings. Now what remains is IF Ralph is the Union world, I want to know how he's earned in the game, cause with the Links, Sora has to meet that specific individual and the strong bond he has with them (e.g. Ariel, Simba, Meow Wow, etc.). Perhaps as said in multiple threads, the Video game store at Galaxy Toys in Toy Box is where you get him as a link so who's to say.

Honestly, I hope you’re right. That would mean, depending on cutscene frequency, a decent amount of story quests would need to be included in the update, which is long overdue. Maybe, just maybe, the Global version would then drop that same amount of quests, which might get us through Enchanted Dominion and possibly to some of this main story stuff by January. But that’s just a hypothetical and I don’t really trust SE to not stretch this stuff out as much as it possibly can.

This scene takes place right where Ventus is, and he's radiating light. Since we have a barrier here I'm guessing this part takes place before Vanitas is sitting above him. Vani does whatever to Aqua that winds up shutting off the barrier or maybe having Aqua in danger triggers Ven to take it down instead.

Aegis is a FF thing since the early games, as early as the very first FF game. It's an item like Aegis Shield or Glove or Amulet, it can be found in ALL FF games so it's like a traditional FF item found across the series.
Magia is just Latin for "magic" or "sorcery", a key element of FF games as well.

So now that Demyx and Vexen have been revealed, at this point I honestly believe that Emperor's New Groove would fit them a lot if they were both in that world, or at least one of them. Vexen especially I feel would fit. Its wacky nature would suit Demyx for a start (Atlantis would fit him the most though no doubt about that). Emperor's New Groove's transforming potions would suit Vexen perfectly since he'd definitely love to get a hold on them, being a scientist and all. I also want a conversation between Vexen and Yzma really badly.
So basically Emperor's New Groove plus Vexen, Yzma and Kronk team please. I need this. I didn't realize how much I need this until I mentioned it omg

As for the second, the barrier has been mentioned, but I can’t recall any discussion on Ventus being brighter than the sun. That’s odd to say the least.

Eraqus saying "It's my move, isn't it?" and "It's not over yet" still conveys the same message: that Xehanort had called his victory prematurely, when there are still moves left to be made.
There are no errors here. KH3's English script is fine.

They’re putting plenty of love and care into these translations, going through multiple checkpoints to ensure they are the best they are as accurate as possible while also being appropriate to how an English speaker might uniquely convey the same meaning. I can already hear how Mark Hamill’s digitially de-aged voice (or Drake Bell, whichever you prefer) will sound speaking this line with the inflection to give the same meaning.

Because Demyx isn't that bright? And they both have yellow eyes and pointy ears so they're both part of Xehanort's crew. Don't see how Vexen not saying the name of the person means they must be against Xehanort when we don't know the full context of that conversation.

Personally, I did not see Demyx's eyes at all so I can't say if his eyes are yellow. When he walks through the portal, his eyes are closed and the only other shot of him is from the back.

I'm not on a computer unfortunately but when Demyx comes through a corridor with something on his shoulder, he opens his eyes a bit and you could see his eyes are yellow if you zoom in. Plus he already has the pointy ears when he didn't have them before.

And I mean as I said while we could both come to an agreement that Demyx could be smart when he wants to, he's not incredibly smart and can be absent minded at times to fit his lazy nature so the brainy scientist Vexen has to explain things to him.
I just think we should just wait and see if we get more context into that conversation in a future trailer or wait for the game because I've kinda resigned myself to the fact that I'm going to have much of what I thought I knew turned upside down. I'd rather just take what I see at face value from the trailers until proven wrong later on by more stuff.

If only Terranort/Master xehanort would appear in a Disney world. I don't even necessarily need them to be the main focus or anything. Just seeing them out and about interacting with some Disney characters as Sora tries to chase them down would be enough.
All of these possible internal conflicts inside the Xehanorg has me thinking whether or not Xehanort will get his hands on the Xblade, or something else will happen as the catalyst to the ruin of the world. Something akin to Kefka not obtaining the power of the Warring Triad in FINAL FANTASY VI, but the world still effed up pretty badly anyways.

the Princess of the Frog has a bayou with mostly water and Demyx's element is water. plus his weapon is a sitar, a musical instrument.

If I could whisper in Nomura’s ear, I’d tell him Demyx should definitely be in PatF and Saix should be in Atlantis or maybe Brave. Vexen is the one I can place. I could see Agrabah since his element would be cool contrast to the world environment, but I don’t know what he would want there. Lilo and Stitch could make sense as he is kind of like the mad scientist of the Organization, conducting experiments and creating life forms. There’s also the chance he and Dilan could just be trying to take Radiant Garden from Ienzo, Aeleus, and the restoration committee.

Demyx could work in Emperor's New Groove too purely for the fact that the world and the villains are a goof like him. If Vexen and Demyx team up for a world then this one would work. xD

Judging by the world selections for this game so far, I don't that we're going to get any Disney Neo-renaissance movies. Outside Olympus which is a tutorial world, and Pirates 3 as the obligitory live-action, everything else has just been modern Disney blockbusters.

Especially if you combine in any original worlds as being playable, you gotta think that eventually the workload would just be too much to have so many big expansive and interactive worlds all in here. Radiant Garden alone would be a massive undertaking if it ends up being a playable world and not just confined to cutscenes.

Having Vexen in the Emperor's New Groove could be an interesting idea as he likes to create experiments and Spells just like Yzma, on top of that even if the film doesn't have the popularity factor it once had when compared to Atlantis and Treasure Planet, the film does have relevance within Disney just like Lilo & Stitch such as the Mobile app game, Disney Emoji Blitz and Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom at Disney world.

If we might not get the island of Hawaii (as Destiny Islands is returning to the game) then perhaps they can do an original plot set in Space and be the Sci-Fi world for this game, even if I doubt it will actually happen.

I wouldn't consider Toy Story and Monster's Inc. as "Modern Disney Blockbusters" Alpha Baymax. True they are CG films like Tangled, Frozen and Big Hero 6, along with the fact that TS had two more sequels followed by a third one coming next year and Monster's Inc. had a prequel in 2013 and a forthcoming Television series on the Disney streaming service next year. But frankly, unlike Tangled, Big Hero 6 and Frozen, both Pixar movies are actually 18-20+ years older than the former three Disney animated films as the first Toy Story came out in 1995 two years before Hercules was released and Monster's Inc. was released in 2001 which is when the Disney Neo-Renaissance/Second Dark age happened.
So even if we might not get some films from the early 2000's period I still wouldn't mind a Traditional animated world as Hercules is currently the Only Traditional Disney animated world in KH3.
It's a minor shame that KH3 is mostly representing the 'newer' Disney films, as I enjoyed KH1 being fairly balanced between the classic films and the Renaissance films. But it's probably for the best, as the ringmaster in Dumbo being a Heartless boss fight would be stupid even for this series!

That's true as Wilbur and also the Bowler Hat Guy uses the Time Machine vehicles to travel to a different Time Period as seen in the film.

I'm fairly certain there will be two more new/returning Disney world reveals plus 100 Acre Woods in the next three months. Nomura said the Disney world count is more than KH1 but less than KH2, so it feels fair to expect 9 or 10 Disney worlds. That isn't even counting all of the original worlds they haven't shown off yet.
This leaves room for some non-Revival films to appear.

Ven has Monster’s Inc to an extent through Vanitas, but a Stitch world could tie him in as well.
As for the likelihood, honestly, as fleshed out as the Gummi ship stuff is, it would almost be a shame if there is no world set in space.
Come to think of it, a lot of the classic Disney films of that era weren't driven by villains! So I suppose focusing on the later stuff makes sense, since it's easy to make boss fights for Jafar, Ursula, Scar, etc, etc. Whereas, in comparison, I can't imagine how a Cruella De Vil boss fight would work.
Even though it came out of a made up leak from earlier this year, I would love to see a world with windmills in the game. Original, not based on any Disney property. I sure hope Cable Town is still going to appear.

Exactly, and as each KH3 world is set to be Unique from one another having an expansion of the Deep Space world from BBS where it was just only the Galactic Federation Ship we can visit some of the other locations in space from the original film and franchise such as Planet Turo, Jumba's Lab and the Asteroid Prison. On top of that, even if some of the worlds based Big Hero 6 and Monster's Inc. have some elements as Sci-Fi (including their films), I don't think they are considered to be Sci-Fi worlds when compared to Deep Space and the Tron worlds we had in previous KH games as San Fransokyo is the Superhero/City level and Monstropolis is the Monster/Factory level in the game.

On another note, I suppose it works in contrast to Birth by Sleep mostly being Walt-era films (Snow White, Cinderella, Peter Pan, etc).

This is how I have always envisioned her boss fight. Even if she is just a secret boss, I would be down tbh. But I would love for them to find a way to actually adapt the whole movie to fit KH better.
