For Xbox fans, today has been a long time coming. Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue have finally launched digitally on Xbox consoles.

Additionally, Kingdom Hearts III will be coming to Xbox Game Pass on February 25th 2020. You can read Square Enix's announcement below.

 

SQUARE ENIX® and Disney today released the popular KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX and KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue compilations for the Xbox One family of devices. Introducing nine unforgettable adventures to Xbox players for the first time, the expansive compilations collectively include over 100 hours of KINGDOM HEARTS adventures, paving the way for new players to experience the journey leading up to the release of the critically acclaimed KINGDOM HEARTS III. 
 
KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX includes the following games:

  • KINGDOM HEARTS FINAL MIX
  • KINGDOM HEARTS Re:Chain of Memories
  • KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days (HD remastered cinematics)
  • KINGDOM HEARTS II FINAL MIX
  • KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep FINAL MIX
  • KINGDOM HEARTS Re:coded (HD remastered cinematics)

KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue includes the following games:

  • KINGDOM HEARTS Dream Drop Distance HD
  • KINGDOM HEARTS 0.2: Birth by Sleep – A fragmentary passage –
  • KINGDOM HEARTS χ Back Cover (movie)

Additionally, Keyblade wielders that have completed KINGDOM HEARTS III on Xbox One can look forward to the KINGDOM HEARTS III Re Mind DLC* that will release for the Xbox One family of devices on February 25 for $29.99. The KINGDOM HEARTS III Re Mind + Concert Video package, which includes all KINGDOM HEARTS III Re Mind content as well as footage from the KINGDOM HEARTS – World of Tres – Orchestra concert recorded in Osaka, Japan on Nov. 30, 2019 will also be available for $39.99.
 
Finally, Xbox Game Pass members that have yet to experience the adventures in the award-winning RPG may download KINGDOM HEARTS III as part of their monthly subscription starting February 25. Xbox Game Pass members must purchase the KINGDOM HEARTS III Re Mind DLC separately in order to access the new content.

That looks really nice.

0.2 looks great as well:



But it's still weird to see KH2 with Xbox button prompts!



As for KH3 to Game Pass, guess it now makes sense as to why Re Mind was delayed (still bullshit though) but great for those with the service who don't have the game yet. Hope all of this provides a nice bump in sales for the games.

It's true that the color scheme of reaction commands being set to yellow while keeping the green tone can lead to confusion. But they still managed to keep it clean and it is quite a good job.
